“This hotel has a magnificent view of Lake Michigan! It is a short walk across the street to access the beach. The hotel is older, but is fairly well maintained. The owner and his daughter made our stay enjoyable and were ready with friendly advice when asked. I would recommend this hotel for a couple’s beachfront vacation!!”

“I don’t normally stay at 2.5 star hotels, but this trip was at 2 back to back. This one was by far the better experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they have a little section where kids can borrow books—which my kids loved, and what made me feel even better was seeing the staff smile as my kids excitedly picked out books to read.
I will say that the bacon was paper thin, the coffee left a lot to be desired, and the room smelled funky (we were in the annex), but all was better than the place I stayed the night before, so…”

“We had stayed here many years ago and decided to return for our 24th anniversary. We absolutely loved the historic property and grounds (Koi pond with outdoor seating in the garden area). Shelly was so accommodating and served wonderful breakfasts. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway!”
