Alger Hardware & Rental is an independent, locally owned store and a fantastic resource for the community. It offers a wide selection of everything you might need, with plenty of options and variety. The extremely kind, friendly, and helpful staff provide superior support and guidance, helping to troubleshoot repairs and invent solutions. They have a decent selection, often at the same or lower prices than big box stores. Services include small engine repair for Echo brand equipment, window and screen repair, key duplication, paint color matching, and it is a UPS pickup location. It is a wonderful, great asset, open seven days a week.
The extremely kind staff here have literally helped me troubleshoot so many repairs as a first time homeowner. And if they don’t have what I need, we usually have a lot of fun inventing a solution with what they do have on hand, and those solutions have NEVER failed me. Such a great asset for the community!
