Kingma's Market is a great local grocery store in a walkable area. It is like a small, upscale market with a great selection of fresh, delicious groceries. Shoppers will find a full-service butcher, a separate deli, and great beer and wine selections. The store is recently remodeled with a very calm atmosphere. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. While pricey, it is considered worth every penny by its loyal customers.
They used to have these ginger bread type cookie bars filled with fruit. With icing strings on top. This was when they were on Kalamazoo and Boston. Does any know the name or if they still make them?

I live streets away and this is now my favorite little grocery store what's the best meat counters I've ever seen and the deli area where they had the big salad was first class

Great selection of deli style foods baked goods and fruits and vegetables. Meat market, complementary beverages and confections for a great all round experience. And if you forgot the flora, they didn't!
