“I needed a new pair of fence cutters today and I had forgotten to get them when I was in town at the hardware store. I knew I could count on bridgeton general to have what I needed. Sure enough I stopped on the way home and they actually had a variety to choose from. I was able to get what I needed for a very reasonable price considering i was shopping via convince. This little store has changed so much over the years but always has that one thing you forgot when you were in town and you wouldn't be able to get at the other two stores here. It makes a valuable addition to our community and I am sure is why it is so popular during our tourist season. I for one am grateful for all the times they have had exactly what I need saving me the trip to town.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
