“We read about the world famous donuts yesterday and had to get up early today to get them. They didn’t disappoint. Warm with a little crunch. Cooked to perfection. Made to order. The line was a little long but worth it. They only serve them on the weekends. I definitely recommend.”

“Very glad they put one in! Way better than the Family Dollar. Clean, friendly staff. Although, I will say one of the employees (older women with curly hair and glasses) was kind of rude when my nephew didn't say hi back, she said well ok than real snotty. He is nonverbal Autistic. Perhaps realize some children will not talk or can not talk back. Do not make rude comments, my sister is so nice she did not say anything but that really bothered her. That is all!”

“Roger's in Oscoda, Michigan, is part grocery store and hardware store in one building. Not the friendliest employees but has most of your grocery items as well as you home diy projects. Originally this hardware was separate and located on the corner of US 23 and River road (across from Dairy Queen) that was years ago however. But they merged with Rogers where you now can leave the store one arm with a grocery bag ?️ and the other driving a lawn mower .”

“People complain that no one is immediately at the register when they want to check out, but they will also complain when there is nothing in stock on the shelves if staff decided to just sit at the register waiting for you.

Unless you've ever worked in this small of a store before, you will have no idea how hard it is to maintain it. Project after project, stocking, cleaning, running register, and not to mention what management has to do on top of that.

Staff in the store keeps quitting because of the lack of empathy given by customers. The day to day job is much harder than most people believe, and currently it is much worse with what has been going on. At this very moment there is only 4 people that work at this location, soon to be only 2 left unless more applications come through.

How long do you think this store will remain open with only 2 people to work it? Especially when they have to deal with customers that have absolutely no consideration for the fact that these people are human beings doing the best they can. Plenty of able-bodied people that live in the area that would rather not work, but still complain about the change of hours. Just my two cents. ?‍♂️”

“Since this market was last reviewed four years ago, from a customer perspective, not much has changed. Yes, there was an ownership change about a year ago that changed the way inventory was tracked that affected existing cashiers, but unless you're an employee, it looks the same. It's still a Shell station with a nice market.Louie's is one of two stores in town with an active deli counter. Their deli counter opens early to serve breakfast casseroles and gravy to folks heading into work. The cold case is always well-stocked with grab and go options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and even desserts. They have a good selection of quality meats, which I personally believe rivals the local supermarket.Louie's has a nicely stocked fresh produce section too.The staff behind the deli counter, cashiers, and even those restocking shelves have always been friendly, courteous, and helpful to me over the years I've been coming here. You might wonder why I give Louise five stars. They may not be a Whole Foods or a high-end specialty store, but those stores are in a different category and comparing Louie's to them wouldn't be fare. On their own merits, Louie's is doing a great job of being a small, clean, well-stocked market with convenient business hours.”

“The deli is amazing!! I’d mentioned at the hot food counter to a young lady with silver hair yesterday that I’ve been watching for Mac and cheese bites to be back. She smiled and shrugged but today when I came back omg. She had 5-6 people at the hot food counter when I came in and so I went to the pre boxed area and was looking for my lunch there. She served them so quickly, I hadnt even decided what I wanted by the time the last person had left and she looked over at me and said the magic words “I’ve got Mac and cheese bites”. They are a nostalgic treat for me that takes me back to a time I had less worries. I told her she made my day but the thoughtfulness to look, make it, and put it out the next day after I’d mentioned it made my whole year. Thank you Lincoln Market!!! (Included a picture of the cheese bites for reference, I’d gotten a ton but this is all I had left by the time I remembered to take a picture)”

“My 15 yr old son went in to buy a pair of ear buds. It turned out that he was short a few cents. The cashier was very kind and covered the difference for my son.”
