“I brought my Aunt here to get a pair of shoes. The staff were extremely helpful and worked with her to make sure the shoes were right, even helping lace them up due to her broken wrist. They made sure she had the right shoes for her specific needs and were very supportive through an exchange as well. Staff are clearly knowledgeable, but also care about customers.”

No other place nearby had the replacement buckles for the skate, but the employees here made sure I got them. They reached out to another nearby Perani’s, and luckily they had the buckles. “Pretty sure we walked in while they weren't open officially but the guy didn't care and was still attentive. The morning after a night game so the store seemed a bit lacking but that was because of the busy night prior. They had a good selection and some different things than the actual lion gift shops. Also has other Detroit teams apparel. Plays the local sports radio so your not shopping in silence. The space is tight and I cannot imagine going on a game day!! It was a lot even for 4 of us. Right next to the stadium.”

“I bought new CCM skates at play it again sports and they sharpened them for me. Play it again sports spent about 45 seconds sharpening my new skates. I haven't skated in over 20 years due to medical problems so I didnt have very high expectations for my ability. I went to the ice rink twice and left both times frustrated. A fellow skater told me to go to Precision Blades because the guy that does the skate sharpening is great at his job. So I took my new skates there, had them sharpened and the difference was night and day. He didnt do it in 45 seconds, he spent 30 minutes on them. I won't trust my skates to be sharpened anywhere else. If I had 4 hands, I would give him 4 thumbs up. They also have a great selection of gear that was to my surprise very reasonably priced. Any hockey player or hockey parent knows how expensive playing the game can be so don't waste your money by going anywhere else.
