“Great place. Used to be called Don's Party Store when i was growing up. Its an bbn oasis on a country road betwee dewiit and laingsburg. The pizza is really good and the fishing is good too. You can get liquor and food and its not a big chain place. If you are from the area like i am, you will know the name FARRIER, and me and mg whole family have visisted this place for many, many years. Highly recommend.”

“I used to work here when the previous owners had the business name.7 years I worked there.the previous owners moved their auto repair business to the Logan/mlk shopping center square at n.w.corner of s.Logan/mlk and Holmes road.the Marathon should be listed as j&h family foods store.the current owners redid the location inside and out.it looks really nice now.they quit having Tim hortons express for a few years now.pumps were updated and have e 85 along with the 3 different brands of unleaded and diesel.there is dual bathrooms again.c/store completely redone.good to know:”

“Best 7-Eleven in East Lansing, no doubt. I judge 7-Elevens based mostly on slurpee quality and this 7-Eleven almost always hits the mark, a miss is rare. They have the nice newer machines & a great flavor selection. The store has a great selection of snacks and drinks as well. The staff has always been solid, I'm sure they deal with a lot being so close to campus. The stores hours are also really extensive, it's typically open most hours of the day. Highly recommend this spot!”

“This is about the Rite Aid on Grand River in Okemos, MI. Since I heard about the Rite Aid bankrupty, and that some stores will survive but others not....Just wanted to say I hope THIS Rite Aid will stay! It is my go to Pharmacy. For all the years I've walked in there, every one has been very helpful and pleasant. Got all my covid shots there too without waiting or hassle. I love this store!!! “Just want to drop a quick review about how kind the pharmacy staff was. We were desperate to find antibiotic for my baby as his infection is getting worse, and we won't be able to get in for a doctor visit until next week on Thursday. The pharmacy near our house where we always get our prescription is out and not have anything until next week Monday. We were waiting all day long to hear from them about that antibiotic prescription. So we were calling around and we were talking to Ramy. (Out of luck with several pharmacies near our house) He was so kind and helpful with all the questions I asked. His system got a glitch unfortunately,he couldn't receive our request to transfer the prescription as per our conversation. He went beyond our expectation to call other store to check around and make sure they have antibiotic for us. I received a call back from him around 30 mins after that & finally we able to pick up the medication for our baby from another store. My husband after picking the meds, stopped at the store to personally thanks him once more.”

“When we moved into the area, we were concerned with finding a local store that carried our whiskey-an Irish Whiskey called “Teeling” (which is smooth as Johnnie Blue, for a fraction of the price, btw). The store owner not only made sure they had it upon our return, but has made sure it gets stocked weekly. He always knows what we want when we come in and is extremely friendly. We would drive twice as long if we had to, just to keep the relationship.”
