“Dr. Ramsey and his team did a wonderful job getting my cat Princess's feline herpes virus FHV cleared up. Got her on the right regimen and dosages. I made sure I followed all the medication instructions, and she was cleared up within 2 weeks. I'm super happy my baby didn't lose her eyesight. The staff was all very nice and seemed to genuinely care about Princess Purrtima's wellbeing. (In the pictures, the cloudy eye is before on Jan 30th, 2024, and the one where her eyes are clear was taken on the day of the appt on Feb 13th in the office. )”
“Moved here from out of state and hadn't found a new vet for my cat and then suddenly he got very sick. I called riverside and they got me in within the hour and unfortunately, there wasn't anything we could do, but the staff here (front desk, the tech and the dr) were sooo kind and comforting and explained everything to me where I can understand it. Dr also was petting him through the process. They put me at ease and even though I had to walk out of there without my cat, I was glad that this is the place I brought him too. I will always recommend them!”

I’m visiting from out of state & my husky broke his dew claw at the dog park in Lansing & they were the only vet clinic in the area that was accepting new clients (I called 15 different clinics!). “We take our animals to Dr. Houk since she started in Holt. She has done wonderful for us from end of life care for two of our dogs to treating our cats. She loves all animals and has helped exotic too. I think she is well educated and dedicated to her patients. She is the only vet and extremely busy but will take on emergency. As far as prices she is extremely reasonable and willing to squeeze you in I find her hours convenient and amazes me how she does all of it with a new baby at home.”

“We had been taking our three cats to another nearby animal vet and I was interested in switching once I learned about vets in the area that are specifically for cats. I figured they must be good woth cats if thats what they see all day, compared to vets that see a mix of animals. I looked up reviews for the different cat-specific vets in the area and fortunately, they all seemed to have great reviews. After calling a few places to schedule, I chose this one because it was more affordable than the others. Their price for three cats to be examined and vaccinated was a lot more affordable. The doctor was impressive with our cats. He had a lovely way of examining them and could read their personalities instantly. His connection with the kitties really matters to me as a cat parent, but also he answered my multiple questions at length. He was great at educating and informing us about our cats health, wellbeing and prevention. They recommended and gave us a quote for a full dental cleaning which was also about $100 less than the other quote I've gotten in the area. We will be booking the dental cleanings for our kitties soon. I'm happy to be able to take my cats to this vet. He's a great cat doctor”

“Dr Rob is a terrific vet. Decades of experience with all sport disciplines and breeds of horses. I like that He's reluctant to order expensive tests unless they're really necessary. But if he orders a test, you can bet you need it to get to the bottom of the problem. His insights have saved us money and our many horses pain over the 20 years we've known him. I'm always impressed that just by looking and feeling how a horse moves and reacts he can determine the most likely root cause. And so far he hasn't been wrong. I can't think of a better vet than Dr Rob.”
“10? The primary care for MSU Veterinary is absolutely amazing! I have one dog who must wear a muzzle and is very nervous around new people. The staff was so patient with her, and took her feelings into account. Dr. Emery and their nurses were so amazing! I have another dog who is a hound who is very noisy and sniffs a lot, and she did perfect with the staff. She was licking them while they gave her a vaccine and everything. They are truly the best who looks out for their patients and clients. I had to put a dog down last year there during Covid and they were so compassionate, even the vet who put her down was crying. I will always take my dogs there as they give the best care.”
“My first visit with these guys was amazing. They were kind and understanding. I had lots of questions and the vet never got upset with me or made me feel like I was being an inconvience or anything. I feel like a few of my questions were silly but He addressed all of my questions and then some, without making me feel dumb. I truly believe in todays society its hard to find people in general who are this caring. 5 out of 5 reccomend. I will update if that ever changes.”
“She gives the best quality care and always keeps your pets best interests and needs a priority. She goes above and beyond expectations and is fully dedicated to making sure your pet is strong and healthy as well as having a healthy successful recovery. She has performed a few surgeries on our Pit Bull, including a recent amputation. She has good prices and worth every scent. The sutures were beautifully done each time, detailed instructions and sufficient pain meds were given for him to be as comfortable as possible throughout his recovery and was just as dedicated throughout his post op care. She has been available for any post op questions/concerns (such as when he tries to over due it ect). I HIGHLY recommend Sandhill and will not take my pets anywhere else again.”

They handled both my giant puppy as well as my senior dog with loving care and when my older doggo decided she didn't like the taste of the medicine they asked me if I'd like to give it a shot. I was more than pleased with that given that she's so old and I knew she'd be fine if I did and she made everyone smile when she took her medicine for dad on the first try. For real though, the cost for their annual shots was so much less than expected and the staff were awesome.”
