“My wife and I decided we wanted to redo our bathroom. We had a vision of what we wanted it to look like and tried to piece things together at large mainstream stores. We did not do very well with this route and needed more guidance. We ended up driving about 40 minutes to Universal Plumbing and met with a man named Eric who asked us if we needed any help upon entering and of course I said no not right now and he kindly let us roam around. After 15 minutes we realized we ordered the wrong style tub from lowes thinking we knew what we were doing. Eric still willing to assist us sat us down and walked us through ALL aspects of the bathroom, design, shower heads, drains, faucets, bathtub. Thank you Eric for all of your help. Also to all other members who answered the many calls and questions we had during the stressful time of having our bathroom redone for the first time.”

“Alco Glass & Mirror is fantastic. I did something dumb - tried to shoot at a squirrel stealing bird food out of my feeders and missed - hitting the glass gazebo door instead. My son tried to bring it in to some place near him in Livonia, along with a gazebo screen door that needed fixing and they told him they couldn't do it. My gazebo was left wide open on that side for months!
Luckily, I was talking to someone from American Standard Roofing and they recommended Alco. My sister and I brought both doors in, bundled up, dissembled frames only, just about 2 weeks ago. Kim, who wrote up our order, didn't bat an eyelash at the mess ( pieces of frame wrapped in torn screen) we brought in and a few days ago, called to let me know they would be delivering the doors on Friday. She called again this morning to say they were heading to my house next.
With my biggest problem solved, I began to wonder how in the heck I would get these doors back in place on my old gazebo. I was reaching out to family friends, asking if they could help but luckily for me, Jeff and his assistant sized up the situation and re-installed the doors themselves! I was beyond happy.
While in the store, I had also noticed some absolutely beautiful artwork (dragonflies, hearts, and dangly sparkly items whose brilliant colors immediately caught my eye). Of course I bought some. Once the doors were installed I pointed them out to Jeff, as they were hanging on my pergola, and told him I thought they had been attracting even more hummingbirds to my feeder. Turns out, they actually sell hummingbirds like the dragonfly I bought. I must have missed them.
I plan to go back to the store and get some more. They greatly enhance the already incredible beauty of the plants hanging from my pergola. Jeff said to ask for him when I come next time and he'll show me where the hummingbirds are. (He is the artist who actually made these beautiful items.) Everyone I met at Alco could not have been nicer.
The doors are good as new, the art work makes my heart sing, and I will definitely be going back for more. Two thumbs' up for this wonderful store and the great people who run it!”

“Highly recommend solid surfaces unlimited. They installed our quartz countertops in our kitchen. Over a year later we had a line of epoxy that was discolored, they sent two techs out (that same day) who cleaned it up and drilled a hole in the counter for the garbage disposal air switch, free of charge. I will not use any other company for countertops or recommend any other company. Thank you again!”

“Five stars is not enough, It should be over 10 plus stars. I am in love with my bathtub and the walls. They are so gorgeous. Curtis Wright, who did the work deserves over 10 plus stars. These people from the owner, the sales guy down to the installer - Curtis, are genuine people that deeply care about the quality of their products, their work ethic, the employees they hire etc., so that they can give 100% customer satisfaction. Which we did receive. Curtis was amazing at communication. He explained what he did, how to best clean it. He went through the paperwork with me, and installed everything to perfection. I will recommend this company to everyone! I am not sure if what I check off below matches the work done.I don't have that paperwork.”
