“The young women who helped my mom and I that day was super helpful. We were shopping for summer shoes/saddles for my mom. My mom has very "bad" feet and needs something with a lot of support, and she has a very narrow foot. Even though she tried on like 25 pairs and couldn't find any she felt comfortable in. The young lady kept a smile on her face and just kept suggesting others. Thank you for the wonderful service. I love their shoes. I would truly recommend this store to anyone.”

“My daughter and I had the best time buying shoes here. The staff was amazing. My daughter wouldn't stop talking after about how nice the staff was who helped her pick out shoes. My daughter is at the age where she's experimenting more with her fashion preferences, and she felt the staff really narrowed in on her aesthetic and helped her pick out the perfect shoes. We'll definitely be back.”
“I’ve shopped at this Ann Taylor store for over 15 years, and after reading some of the recent reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience.
Overall, I’ve had many positive experiences here, but there is one old employee who consistently comes across as unpleasant. I’ve interacted with her a few times and have had to politely stand my ground on more than one occasion. To my knowledge, she is not the store manager, and I truly hope the store maintains the strong leadership it has had.
Melinda, who has been the store manager for years, is extremely professional, friendly, and consistently helpful. She is honestly the main reason I continue to shop here. Her customer service sets the tone for what the store should represent.
In all my years shopping here, there have only been two associates who stood out negatively, one older woman with short dark hair, which I thankfully haven't seen in quite some times, and this current individual that seems to be the problem.
I hope management addresses the issue, as customer experience matters and reflects directly on an otherwise well-run store.

“As soon as I walked in, an employee asked what I was looking for and helped me find exactly what I needed in seconds. The price was significantly lower for my scrubs than I expected because there was a better variety than I found in other stores, including budget friendly brands. It was a great experience, and this is definitely where I'll go for scrubs from now on.”

“Best shoes I've ever owned. Make sure before you leave that the shoes are going to be ok for you. Got a wrong size 4 days ago, went back and wanted to exchange them. Cashier almost wanted to refuse me even with a receipt bc I had worn them for a couple of hours and realized they weren't big enough. But then she decided she would do it this one time.”

“We were stormed into DSW last night in Lansing MI. I was beyond impressed with the professional and calm manner that the manager and her staff handled the tornado watch requiring them to put customers in the back of the store/hallway. They we even so kind as to fnd a couple snacks for my kids to help pass the time, providing seating and a safe comfortable environment in a scary situation. I unfortunately do not remember their names but I hope they are rewarded for their good job, above and beyond! Valuable employees who did not complain one bit. We will be back!”

“Custom service is excellent. Quality of the shoes really cannot be beat. I’m extremely hard on my boots and they lasted 2 years with long days on the concrete floor. They have a nice machine that measures your foot and fits you too the perfect size shoe. If you want something that will last you for years even if you are heavy this is your place.
