“I grew up coming in here all summer to buy comic books, soda, and squirt.guns. Came back as an adult and it was exactly the same. Great store. Great history- been around forever. Great location.”

“This review is more based on the people than the products because we all know they don't carry caviar, heated pet sweaters and bonsai trees. No, they carry things you actually needs. I guess that in itself SHOULD earn them 5 stars now that I think about it. Anyway, ai had a great experience here. I've never been in a store like this and seen the employees so attentive to the customers needs. Truly, a great hometown store where people are friendly and helpful.”

“"The heart of Hubbard Lake! This family market is a gem. Fresh produce, artisanal goods, and a cafe with unique coffee drinks - it's a one-stop delight. The personal touch in service makes you feel at home. The coffee blends are a revelation; each sip is a journey. It's not just a market; it's a community hub. A must-visit for a warm, welcoming experience. Kudos to the family for creating such a charming spot!"”

“A fine market owned and operated by great people.Julie does a fine job and the deli case is fantastic. The potato salad, taco salad, sandwiches, are all top shelf and everything is priced fairly. It’s my favorite place to buy gasoline. They have the perfect mix of groceries and beer wine etc. for a small store it can’t be beat.”

“People complain that no one is immediately at the register when they want to check out, but they will also complain when there is nothing in stock on the shelves if staff decided to just sit at the register waiting for you.Unless you've ever worked in this small of a store before, you will have no idea how hard it is to maintain it. Project after project, stocking, cleaning, running register, and not to mention what management has to do on top of that.Staff in the store keeps quitting because of the lack of empathy given by customers. The day to day job is much harder than most people believe, and currently it is much worse with what has been going on. At this very moment there is only 4 people that work at this location, soon to be only 2 left unless more applications come through. How long do you think this store will remain open with only 2 people to work it? Especially when they have to deal with customers that have absolutely no consideration for the fact that these people are human beings doing the best they can. Plenty of able-bodied people that live in the area that would rather not work, but still complain about the change of hours. Just my two cents.”
