“Friendly service and nice selection - just about anything you might need. Small but great quality butcher shop, ice cream, condiments, some fishing tackle, lots of other pantry basics. Definitely the place to shop when visiting Hubbard Lake.”
“My family stopped in today and we were pleased with everything from the delicious drinks to the amazing women working there! It's such a cute little shop and we're looking forward to going back. I always love a place that makes you feel so at home ?”
“A small town party store with convenience store prices. --- Beer, wine and liquor is sold here. There is no premium gas here. Just 87, 89, and diesel. They have propane as well.
The pizza is very good and they offer hand scooped ice cream. The store itself is extremely clean and organized. The owners are hard working and have been there for a very long time while keeping up with all of the necessary and sometimes unnecessary improvements over the years.”
“I was very surprised to see how much variety of foods there were the last time I visited this Amish store. A lot is bulk type if you like to stock on certain foods. I like it because it's close to me too. Nice people.”
“Okay soping store,or a pit stop on the way to Alpena or live by. Be cool if thare was shopping cart lol. But good pizza good snaks ect, love employees recommended store have fun shopping.”
“People complain that no one is immediately at the register when they want to check out, but they will also complain when there is nothing in stock on the shelves if staff decided to just sit at the register waiting for you.
Unless you've ever worked in this small of a store before, you will have no idea how hard it is to maintain it. Project after project, stocking, cleaning, running register, and not to mention what management has to do on top of that.
Staff in the store keeps quitting because of the lack of empathy given by customers. The day to day job is much harder than most people believe, and currently it is much worse with what has been going on. At this very moment there is only 4 people that work at this location, soon to be only 2 left unless more applications come through.
How long do you think this store will remain open with only 2 people to work it? Especially when they have to deal with customers that have absolutely no consideration for the fact that these people are human beings doing the best they can. Plenty of able-bodied people that live in the area that would rather not work, but still complain about the change of hours. Just my two cents. ?♂️”
“Lincoln Market is a nice store in Alcona County. The store has a wide variety of items and it is clean and well organized. The staff were very friendly and helpful when looking for an item. The items are pricey but this is not a Walmart so things will be a bit higher. A good overall experience here.”
“This review is more based on the people than the products because we all know they don't carry caviar, heated pet sweaters and bonsai trees. No, they carry things you actually needs. I guess that in itself SHOULD earn them 5 stars now that I think about it. Anyway, ai had a great experience here. I've never been in a store like this and seen the employees so attentive to the customers needs. Truly, a great hometown store where people are friendly and helpful.”
