It's a shame to see how the age of online shopping has drained the Mall industry. From reading the directory it seemed this Mall had a wide variety of stores in its hay day, but now is quite empty. When looking to plan a shopping trip, I would not recommend this as your go-to destination. The building overall is well taken care of; it could however benefit from some investors looking to setup shop.

I don't know who is giving this place 5 stars. Probably management who knows the place is dying. In any case, there is absolutely nothing here because management refused to lower rent, so every store moved to the crossings. There's a common denominator between this mall and Lansing Mall, both of which are dying and both owned by the same management. See where greed gets you? Paying $11 for security and refusing to give any sort of raise. Refusing to lower rent. Now what do you have? A dying mall. Someone needs to buy this mall off your greedy hands and make this building into something else. Or else it'll continue to be nothing but a ghetto eye sore.

Hardly any stores in this Mall. Not sure how long it will stay open.

Nice clean mall with a handful of stores to visit. My favorite part is the hippo in front of the pretzel spot. It’s been there for over 30 years and is a great item for kids to enjoy playing on.

2025 UPDATE:
since 2020, the mall has been in a downward spiral mainly due to the loss of Younkers and the bankruptcies of many chains before and during the pandemic. Since then, the situation has gotten worse every year. 2022 saw the loss of AT&T and Foot Locker (probably more but I don't remember), 2023 saw Kay Jewelers, Bath & Body, Shoe Encore and a couple others leave, 2024 saw FYE, American Eagle, Wingity Ann's and Cricket close, and 2025 is starting off with the loss of Game Stop, which I believe is one of the last stores that does well. I predict that 2025 will see most of, if not all of the remaining big name stores leave, and I predict the entire mall will close around 2027. It sucks to see this happen because I grew up with this mall and the Crossing in the 2010s, but the reality of the situation is that we will most likely not enter the 2030's with the Westwood Mall. I still enjoy walking around the mall to see what changes take place every week, and I like the Applebee's, although the quality has been hit or miss in recent years. Overall, it's a good mall, but if no action is taken soon, it's days are numbered

Pits of empty stores but a fun holiday craft fair added more reasons to shop. People seemed to really enjoy all the offering Westwood has in addition to shops too!
