“I've been to quite a few Ys in New York City. We were out visiting family in jackson and looking for a place to work out during a rough stretch of weather. The Jackson Y isn't cheap for out of towners, but I understand that allows them to keep reasonable rates for locals. Truth be told, this Y was on par with the best I've been to. I would join if I lived in the area in a heartbeat. As a non-local I'll be back when next I'm in town visiting family”

“Truly the best gym around! Pro’s has a real old-school feel, packed with every piece of equipment you could need, all in a really cool space.
The people here are genuinely the nicest and have all become my gym family.
Randy is incredibly knowledgeable and an all-around amazing coach. He’s so passionate about what he does and cares about helping people improve, no matter their fitness level. I’ve learned so much from him and can’t thank him enough!”
“Kenneth was such a helpful guy! I needed some body wash after buying a towel from the front desk, and he gave me a small bottle of his own for completely free. He was also very quick to respond to my appointment for the hydrobed. Very thorough in cleaning the locker rooms too!”

“In my opinion the best gym in Jackson! All the Hammerstrength equipment you could ever want and multiple places to squat with dedicated deadlift station. Friendly people and good selection on supplements. Open 24 hours and probably the most affordable gym on Jackson with serious equipment. 10/10”

“A 24/7 gym close that's affordable and not full of posers. I love it. I just wish that they would maintain their equipment a little better.
For the price, I get exactly what I need and no signs telling me how to behave and isn't decorated in mauve. Come on, we're adults. Nobody needs a nanny at our age.”
“Like it but they need to fix the stationary bike. Other than that and this homeless guy that pounds on the windows if your using the treadmill, not all too shabby.”
“Some of the facilities is a bit dated and in need of some work however they are doing some renovations and additions can’t wait to see what they bring. Good place for childrens activities and work out facilities. All in all good YMCA”

“Great gym! Been going for a few years now and this rivals any of the best CrossFit boxes I’ve hit across the country. One thing I really like about the gym too are the class options - this is one of the only gyms I’ve seen a 5am class option which is really the only that works for my schedule.
All the coaches have been great especially LT - he brings great energy and tons and tons of CrossFit experience to the table
