We purchased our new pontoon from Thayer in June 2025. Mike has been an absolute pleasure to do business with. We have had a couple small issues with our boat and he’s been so easy to get ahold of and has rectified the situation quickly. Excellent customer service!!

Excellent Customer Service! My radio quit working in my Bennington Pontoon, not only did they get me a replacement they came to my house and installed the new radio on my boat. Please note that the communication started two days prior to the fire loss of Thayer's entire facility and continued the week after the fire. They didn't miss a beat during this devastating time for them. I highly recommend Thayer Marine!

Being a first-time boat owner I was really nervous when I couldn't get my motor working. After attempting repairs on my own, we contacted Thayer Marina. They were amazing! Not only were they incredibly kind, but they were able to quickly assess the issue and had our boat back to us within a couple of days! I cannot thank them enough! Highly recommend them for winterization and repair!

What a great company! From start to finish this company follows through! We had nothing but a top notch service experience! Kris Thayer was so kind, knowledgeable, and patient with us through our entire buying process. We ordered our boat at the end of May and had it delivered to us on July 17th, despite a major fire that burnt their building to the ground 8 days prior to our boat delivery. Zach, who delivered our boat was amazing! He went over every single detail to help us get to know our boat and make us feel comfortable before he left. If you are in the market for a boat this is the company you want to use. I highly recommend!

Worst purchasing experience of my life. Never dealing with them again. They sold me a brand new malfunctioning boat. I brought it back to have them exchange it. The owner banged on my motor full strength with a mallet for 5 min trying to get the prop off. He sent me off assuring it was fixed. The problem persisted. I was instructed to again bring it back, which I did. They kept my boat for 3 wks before they said it was ready to pick up. I got the boat back in the water. Again, the same issue. They wanted me to bring it back a third time and I refused, requesting that they come to me this time. They test drove the boat, then took it with them…for a whole month! I told the owner I was uncomfortable with the boat and the whole experience and would like it swapped with a “working” boat but he refused. I missed half the season because of this unprofessional, shady establishment and was never even given a clear explanation of what the issue or the repair was, but a brand new motor SHOULDN’T NEED ANY REPAIRS!

Henry is a delightful greeter and the rest of the staff lives up to him. Kevin was wonderful about figuring out the part that I needed for a replacement. He took the time to look it up and ordered it for me and I should have it by the end of the week. The entire staff is friendly courteous and and wonderful to work with and I would strongly recommend them

I called about a gas line at 4:15 before they closed on a Friday. Talked to Jacob in parts and not only was it a simple process to order the new line, he gave me the part I needed to get through the weekend at no charge and even prepped it for me so it made it easy to put on. Awesome customer service for the first visit. I will not take my business elsewhere.

I was preparing to launch my boat during a holiday weekend when I had a holiday ending malfunction. An employee from Thayer Marina was nearby and took quick action to limit my damage. I followed him to Thayer Marina where a second employee met us. These 2 men saved the weekend (and my boat) when either employee could have looked the other way, or could have told me to make an appointment. Thank you Thayer Marina for having great employees!

The customer support and service response time has been absolutely wonderful. We had a boat emergency recently so requested an on-line service request at approx. 8:00 p.m., received a response phone call by 8:30 p.m. and had a team on our dock at 9:00 a.m. the next morning to resolve the issue.
The "state of the art" on line service request system is very efficient and it's reassuring to know that it is being monitored and they are quick to respond.
The service team has been outstanding with great response time, clear communication and detailed updates. They have been a delight to work with.

The mechanics were great they figured out the rings on my motor were simply carboned up they could have told me something else but they were very honest and great job thanks.
