“I found trans service plus Inc. online and they had great reviews so I thought I would give them a call. Phil the owner answered. I explained to Phil that my 81 Camaro Transmission had gone bad, but my dilemma was that my son wanted to use it in his wedding in 10 days. Phil said they were busy but he wanted to help me out. Not only did he fix it but he did it in three days and in plenty of time for my son to use it for his wedding. “**Update - 12/17/23 - Broke another axle, different one than last time and if I could give 10 stars I would. Google wouldn't let me create a new review. I called, showed up an hr later and Scott had me diagnosed in 1 min, pulled a truck out of a bay and had me in within 5 mins. Tech had the old axle out, cleaned the tube and new axle with seal back in. I think this took 10 mins and I was back in service in less time than you get an oil change. This type of customer service puts every business to shame.**original ReviewIt gets no better than this place. I broke an axle in a semi, called and talked to Scott the owner and he had me in like Nascar. Axles out, inspected, housing cleaned out and fluid drained/filled and back on the road in 30 mins. This kind of service is unheard of now a days and they gave me years of experienced knowledge by answering every dumb question I had. The tech who did the work was outstanding and diligent. The pricing is beyond fair.”

They inspected it, explained that a replacement part had failed, and completely stood behind both their workmanship and the parts they installed. They repaired everything under warranty with no questions and no charge. That's exactly how a reputable shop should handle a warranty claim. They did a great job the first time, and when a replacement part failed through no fault of their own, they took care of it without hesitation. That level of integrity and customer service has earned my trust, and I'll definitely be back.”

“Jamie and Bob's Transmissions are great. I have had them do work on a couple vehicles over the years and the work is always done well and at a reasonable price. They worked on a M45x for us, trying to solder a connector back on, replaced the PTU in a MKS, and most recently I brought a Grand Cherokee to them as the dealer said the transmission was bad and the source of a grinding noise under acceleration and when power braking. It took a little time to work it into their schedule, but good work takes time and they had a backlog, so totally understandable. They found the dealer had left the pan off, transmission empty of fluid, and no filters. After reassembling it they diagnosed the issue...the exhaust contacting a cross member. The dealer tech must not have paid attention to clearances after replacing the transfer case. Bob's/Jamie took care of the issue and got me on my way for thousands less than the dealer, who wanted $6,500 for a remanufactured transmission they couldn't even get due to backorder. The Jeep dealer is why I don't take my cars to shops unless I have to. It's places like Bob's and Jamie that do the industry and customers right when dealers are a constant source of disappointment. Top notch!”
