“All the doctors and staff are amazing, kind, supportive, caring, and informative. I have had 4 dogs that I have taken here for their care and I absolutely love the place! My Golden Retriever started having seizures and Dr. Charlie worked with me to figure out a plan for him! My Pitbull well she’s a little tomboy and loves eating anything and everything, she got into something and wasn’t getting better so I took her in and they worked up 2 plans and let me pick which one I could afford and thankfully it has helped her! I would recommend this place 10 out of 10 times!”

“My first experience at VCA after our previous vet closed was an incredibly positive one, even though it resulted in a terminal diagnosis for our 11-year-old cat, Betty. The staff took a difficult, upsetting situation and really gave such warmth and care to our cat and family. Dr. Frazier was so easy to talk with. She offered compassion and honesty at explaining the diagnosis to our son. When we scheduled the time to say goodbye to Betty, the staff immediately met us at the door and promptly led us to a private, peaceful room with a sofa. We felt nothing but support and care during the difficult goodbye process. Thank you, VCA, for giving warmth and dignity to the passing of our sweet girl.”

When it came to having to say goodbye this week, members from the team came in to say goodbye and tell us how much they enjoyed Catty over the years. This meant so much! Dr. Kluz was fabulous with her care over the years and Dr. Brett was extraordinarily compassionate during the final steps. They handled everything so delicately and thanked us for loving our pet so well. Its touches like this that make all the difference. “To Dr. Withers and the entire staff: I have had more than 10 dogs (Great Danes) that I loved in my lifetime, but Melvin was a very special Great Dane. When ever he entered the clinic, the young women would shower him with love and he would love them right back. They made him feel right at home. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of and miss him immensely. He has been gone for at least six months now. I think of him daily and miss him tremendously. The professionalism and care Dr. Withers and staff provided was above all my expectations. I have been to several veterinary care practices in my lifetime and 8th St Vet is top of the list. She was 15, I hear that is a good life for a cat. She is unforgettable. I have been with KAH PC Kitties entire life. I tried to give her good care. As they get older it get expensive. But until her last day she was eating and drinking. If I get another pet, I will be there at Kalamazoo Animal Hospital. Thanks for 15 years of taken care of Kitty. .”

“Kalamazoo Animal Hospital saved my dogs life 7 years ago. They helped quickly diagnose her with Autoimmune hemolytic anemia which is a chronic condition they continue to manage and she is almost 13 years old. They are so kind and knowledgeable. I continue to come here for veterinary care for our dog Sophie despite moving to the Lansing area. They also just had a lovely remodel of their office too and it is so inviting and nice inside. I would recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone!”
