Here's why: Today, I was in need of a garbage disposal, (Initially dealt with another major supply store, but sadly, due to several weeks of ongoing issues with miscommunication and lack of inventory, given reassurances and awaiting phone calls to fix the matter, I decided to get a refund and take my business elsewhere.) Hence, searched online, picked out a Badger 5 / 1/2 HP product to purchase.Contacted Home Depot Rochester Hills service desk, spoke to Mike K, who connected me with Beth (Plumbing/Kitchen Dept.)Beth not only helped me locate my requested product, she also pulled another comparable product to allow me a secondary choice along with product pricing, she immediately set up a Home Depot service person to contact me for my garbage disposal installation, and was able to pay for it right over the phone.She reassured me, that she would pull both disposals, set them on a counter, and instructed me to go directly to Kitchen department for pick-up.To my surprise, approximately, 30 minutes later, the Home depot serviceman called me, set up an appointment to install my garbage disposal, today.Mind you, I was just getting my shoes on to pick- up the disposal.Of course, I made an appointment as soon as I was able to pick up the disposal.Beth kept her word, when I arrived at the store, that's exactly where I found the disposals setting; at the Kitchen counter showroom. No time to waste, the Badger 5 unit was my choice, so, I proceeded to walk to the service desk where a very nice cashier, quickly assisted me on my purchase.Finally, got home and to my amazement, my husband was waiting at the door, laughingly, grabbed it from me, to hand to the serviceman Stanley, who was there in the kitchen ready to install.Wow!He had actually already removed the old disposal and awaited the new one, in the time that I was coming home from the store.Wow! Home Depot and their serviceman were totally on the ball today! My husband and I are very satisfied customers, impressed with Home Depot's fast and excellent service, and highly recommend anyone searching for great service to go to Home Depot in Rochester Hills.Thank-you Home Depot employees: Mike K, Beth, Stanley the serviceman, and all others who assisted me and provided OUTSTANDING service.”

“Review from a Gardner: I get most of my standard pots, soil, and fertilizer here--prices are very inexpensive and they have lot's of specific quality brands for things like cactus soil and root hormone. But if I want specialty or decorative pots, I go to one of the nearby local garden centers as they don't carry much variety like that here. I also do NOT get plants here, I've seen mites and gnats hanging on them. Home Depot is not primarily a garden store so they probably don't have someone dedicated to keeping their plants healthy. Outside of gardening, the store has great pricing on grilling goods and whatnot. I recently loaded up on a bunch of moving boxes, bubble wrap, etc. and it was about $40.”

Luckily, G&F had the proper repair kit in stock, and Chuck helped me install the parts right there, at no extra charge! Small town service still exists.....highly recommend.”

My central vac was over 21 years old so time for a new one. He literally installed anew and better one for less than I had paid for my old one 21 years earlier. “I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the customer service at the Chets rental in Rochester Hills Michigan. I am disabled I had 220 pound propane tanks needed to be filled no sooner than I pulled around to the filling station. David was there to greet me and pull out the tanks himself to begin the filling process. If that wasn’t wonderful enough out of the rental office came Kevin, who saw that I was using a walker and offered to expedite payment saving me the walk into the office and back to my car. David also reloaded my tanks and made sure they were soundly secure for my drive home. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate going to a business establishment with people who really care and put the customers needs on a higher level. Thank you David and Kevin. “Parking is plentiful, but access to the store can be tricky and confusing until you do it a few times. It's at the end of the east mall on top of a hill. Great selection of plants in the garden department, and the employees are super helpful and courteous. Appears to be a clean, well run facility.”
