Best Buy has undergone noticeable changes over the years, leading to mixed feelings among customers. Many long-time shoppers miss the extensive selection of movies and video games, now replaced by items like Hot Wheels, Legos, and books, leaving some feeling there is little to browse. Despite this, the in-store service receives praise. Customers appreciate the helpfulness of staff, noting experiences with knowledgeable associates who provide valuable guidance, particularly in areas like gaming laptops and mobile phones. However, some customers express frustration with product availability. Often, items found online are not in stock at the store, leading to disappointment. A recent experience with a faulty LG dryer highlighted challenges with returns, although the in-store staff handled the situation effectively and processed refunds quickly. Overall, while Best Buy's electronics selection remains a strong point, the decline in music and video offerings has left some customers nostalgic for the past. The store's cleanliness and organization, along with friendly service, continue to be positive aspects that contribute to the shopping experience.
