The Clarion Hotel and Conference Center is a pet-friendly hotel with a great location, close to many areas of Lansing, restaurants, stores, and a farmers market. It features a big indoor pool with a play area. Some rooms are big, renovated, and decent with comfortable beds, great water pressure, and working heat and air. The attached Tangy Crab restaurant is a highlight. However, the hotel needs work. Experiences with staff vary, with some guests finding them very friendly and helpful, while others found them rude and unprofessional. Cleanliness is inconsistent, with reports of rooms not being clean. Safety is a concern due to unlocked exterior doors. The wifi can be horrible, but a nearby Starbucks offers an alternative. It is an okay place to stay if you just need a place to sleep, and check-in is easy.
Attendant was very friendly and helpful. We walked into our room and it was big. The beds are comfortable. Water pressure is awesome. Clean and welcoming. Thank you.

Could use bench outside for smokers and to sit outside at night. And would love to have pool open.

Im rating this a 3 because the rooms were super nice and comfortable, I stayed Here during a power outage in Lansing but the guest service workers were so rude! And unprofessional! Last thing I wanted to deal with being out of power for two days!
