“This shop continues to amaze me with their kind help. It’s no secret I’ve had a mastectomy, and that changes my appearance. With my larger size, I have very specific prosthetic and bra needs for formal swear, swimwear, casual wear, basically anything that requires clothing. While I’ve accepted my new appearance, it doesn’t mean I prefer it, and sometimes my self-confidence slips. But these women are kind experts. They get it The owners and employees have ALL patiently helped me find prosthetics and bras to fit my needs, boosting my confidence along the way. More than worth a few hours drive.”

“I’ve shopped at this Ann Taylor store for over 15 years, and after reading some of the recent reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience.
Overall, I’ve had many positive experiences here, but there is one old employee who consistently comes across as unpleasant. I’ve interacted with her a few times and have had to politely stand my ground on more than one occasion. To my knowledge, she is not the store manager, and I truly hope the store maintains the strong leadership it has had.
Melinda, who has been the store manager for years, is extremely professional, friendly, and consistently helpful. She is honestly the main reason I continue to shop here. Her customer service sets the tone for what the store should represent.
In all my years shopping here, there have only been two associates who stood out negatively, one older woman with short dark hair, which I thankfully haven't seen in quite some times, and this current individual that seems to be the problem.
I hope management addresses the issue, as customer experience matters and reflects directly on an otherwise well-run store.
I’m sharing this in hopes that the positive environment many of us appreciate continues to improve.”

“I'm a lady trucker (OTR tanker driver) and was s super happy to find not 1 but 2 pair of boots, IN STORE, that meet my needs for my job - oil resistance and steel toe. I was pleased to find the styles were also super cute, which so often is hard to find when looking for ladies work gear. My intent originally was to purchase only 1 pair, but the prices were reasonable and the customer service was great, so after considering my limited extra time I bought 2 pair. I also found a few great items on clearance that I can also wear for work that I couldn't pass up. I rarely shop but I was really pleased with the selection and my experience here. I almost forgot to mention they also do free, no obligation, on-site boot stretching! One pair I purchased needed a little stretching due to my high instep and after 20 minutes it was a perfect fit. Thank you Boot Barn! You earned a loyal customer. You're worth the drive and I will be back!”

“Cute store, there's something for everyone here. I go in about once or twice a month and always find a few things for me. My teens usually find something too! They have the cutest sweaters and dressy clothes for band concerts and game-day dressing up. The workers are always so nice and helpful. I don't buy dressy or casual clothes at Target anymore, this place is cheaper, cuter, and the clothes last longer.”

“Smaller sale section than at the Somerset UO, but still a decent selection. I pretty much only shop out of the sale section, on account of being broke, but I still get fun stylish clothing, and the sales are generally pretty good. It's been 50% off the sale price the last three times I went in, which hopefully doesn't end any time soon, haha.”
“Stephanie is an incredible employee who consistently goes above and beyond, and she has a gift for making every person she works with feel special and cared for. We first met her at the JCPenney Portraits studio in Burton, MI, and she has been photographing my son, Conner, since November 2021. From the very beginning, she has been the only photographer we trust.
Conner is Autistic, and as you can imagine, that can come with unique challenges. Stephanie has always met him with patience, kindness, and genuine warmth. She treats him as if he were one of her own, and that kind of connection is rare. When she moved to the Lansing location, we didn’t hesitate for a second—we now drive an hour and ten minutes just so she can continue taking his photos. That’s how much she means to us.
Throughout my son’s life, there have been a handful of truly special people who understand him and bring out the best in him. Stephanie is one of those people. I would follow her to any location she works at because the experience she provides is irreplaceable. Our portraits are always beautiful, meaningful, and handled with such care. She knows how important they are to us, and she puts her whole heart into every session.
She brings energy, creativity, and enthusiasm every single time. She is an exemplary employee, and I recommend her to everyone I know.
