“I love hot topic, I get all of my clothes from there and other stuff, people working there are always so nice, but I got to say a most of the stuff is overpriced, like a small pin is $2! I mean the pin is very nice and I lose them (also most of them leave tiny holes in my clothes) I have a lot of them I kinda wish I didn’t spend all that money on the pins, I don’t regret buying some of the pins but it overpriced, and one shirt is $20- $25 dollars (unless it’s on sale) and also, I use the coupons all the time but they expire so quickly, it’s mostly about a week or two until they expire, but other than all of that stuff it’s a great place”

“I'm so happy I found this store! They have everything MSU, including many items you won't find anywhere else. I loved that they carried "women specific sized tees- not just unisex or men's that go to my knees and not made for a woman's shape and size. Besides women's specific clothing they have all sizes from infant to adult- boys, girls, men women and unisex. They even have things for pets. Nice collection of mugs, jewelry, playing cards...you name it, they have it. The best MSU Spartans store I've ever been in.”

“I tried hard but couldn't find the place to submit a review on the official website so I came her to leave this comment. Elise C, a desk associate at ANN TAYLOR store in Lansing, MI, she gave me the best ever customer service on Feb 29, 2024. I came to the store with over 10 items ordered online for return. I jut like purchased different styles with two sizes for each in one order so I can try out which works best at home and return items that I don't want easily. Elise was really patient to me. Their computer system didn't recognize my order even though we tried to put in phone number, credit number, order number, etc. Elise looked into my order confirmation email and manually changed the price in their system based on the price listed on my confirmation email for every single item that I wanted to return to make sure I receive the correct refund. I was thinking this process may take a half hour but she was so excellent and completed the whole process in 10 minutes. She explained everything very clearly to me and showed me what exactly she did on her computer. She also mentioned the better deal in the store so I can get some money back by returning the items that I decided to keep and rebuy them with discounts. She was so patient and friendly. I really hope the company can recognize this great person and shout out for her!”

“I stopped by because I needed to pick out a last minute outfit for an NYE party. All of the sales associates working at the time (I visited on 12/30 at roughly 6:30) were extremely helpful in finding the right sizes and styles that I was looking for, and even made recommendations on how to further style my outfit beyond the shirt and pants I bought. This was easily one of the most pleasant retail experiences I’ve had in a long time, and I’m looking forward to returning in the future.”

“Wide variety and good selection: if they don't have what you want the owner is happy to order it. The focus is primarily L-3xl but has tons of stock of S&M. Also, she carries up to 3xl in store but will order up to 5X. Has male and female clothing, shoes and accessories. Came here on a whim and got a 3 piece outfit- highly recommend!”

“Visited the Boot Barn in Lansing for the 1st time today just to "look". We ended up leaving with a pair of boots, 2 hats, a belt and 2 shirts. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the manager Vynette. The store was nice, clean and orderly. We will definitely be back!”

I pretty much only shop out of the sale section, on account of being broke, but I still get fun stylish clothing, and the sales are generally pretty good. It's been 50% off the sale price the last three times I went in, which hopefully doesn't end any time soon, haha.”
