“Overall, the store was great—clean, well-stocked, and everything was in order. I did receive interaction and explanations when needed, but there was no warmth or smile during the exchange. It felt purely transactional, which took away from the experience.
If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. Customer service sets the tone. Even if everything else is perfect, a lack of genuine friendliness can make the atmosphere feel off. On the other hand, great customer service can make up for a lot.
That’s the only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars. Hopefully, that part improves, because everything else was right on point.”
“I spend way too much time at this store! All of the staff members are helpful and courteous. They are very welcoming to kids and pets, and will walk around the store with you to help you solve a problem and find what you need. They have a great selection of merchandise which I find to be priced competitively and often the quality is better than comparable products from other stores. I just purchased a TSC brand stacking tool chest at a really great price from here, and I am impressed with how solid it is, very comparable with other popular name brand tool chests. Thank you!”
“Dave from the Lapeer Big Lots was a tremendous help. I purchased a product that broke and when I called customer service for a warranty I was not helped BUT Dave helped me troubleshoot my problem and its now fixed. Big shout out to Dave and team Lapeer!”

“We went in with the intention of buying a specific set of bedroom furniture. After browsing and discussing, Jen and Sam were able to set us up with a mix of two different styles and manufacturers based on our preferences. They matched the stains and wood grains and hardware so it will all look like a matched set. Overall very pleased with the interactions and purchase.”
