They are especially good with my rescue crew, one of whom can be unsure of new people and places. They always give him the time he needs to get comfy. My pups come out fresh and clean, with their nails neatly trimmed, and at an affordable price. They support local rescue efforts, as well. I highly recommend them!

315 W Nepessing St, LapeerI had Jambalaya and beans and my husband had tacos. All the food was great and I had enough to take home. Service was great and the waitress was very helpful in choosing our order and really on top of things.
The place is warm and cozy with lots of wood, giving a rustic feel and the prices were fair.
Overall impression is good and we will definitely go back.

The second and third time it wasn't as good. The Jambalaya was dry the second time and my husband's food had a hair in it. The owner gave us a $20 coupon which we used for the third visit. That is when I ordered a Rice Bowl which had good flavor but was also dry. I'm not sure what happened. I think with a bit more sauce on top, and some in the rice, it could be much better.
Anyhow, we sat outside on a perfect day this time so all is not lost. It was still a decent meal that I didn't have to prepare and service was still great.

Those 3 best beers that carry the most appeal across the customer base are Oktoberfest, Anrook Lager and Bohemian Pilsner. The last 2 beers I haven't seen there in 2 or 3 years.

193 W Nepessing St, LapeerBy far the best soup and sandwiches, period! We stop in frequently for lunch after the gym. Service is fast and friendly. Always many rotating soup options and you really can’t go wrong with any of them but the Baja chicken enchilada and tomato tortellini are my favorites. Sandwiches are large and filling, we always split a whole sandwich and each get a small soup and I usually have leftovers. The self-serve water is much appreciated as well!

2266 N Lapeer Rd, LapeerI recently my second cat from there and the place is not perfect but the adoption prosecess was very easy. Also the volunteers do a good job of keeping the cats happy and there spaces clean! I know volunteer there now myself.
