“Best international market in the greater Flint area. The owner, Magdy, is an amazing man who sells the best lamb chops and other choice cuts of beef, chicken and turkey, makes homemade pita bread, and is an absolute joy to do business with. Feels like home. So many good things, huge selection of spices, gulab jamun, tahini, semolina, flours of all kinds, fresh meat, fresh pita, you’ll just have to stop in and experience it for yourself. Very clean and very well kept. Definitely try the homemade pita bread and garlic spread. Recently purchased kofta for kabobs and it’s the best! Can’t say enough! Thank you Magdy for all you do.”
“I needed to pick up a few things for dinner and some goodies. Great selection of produce, meats, and goodies. Also has a nice variety of wines. They had an amigo available, store was clean, associates, and cashiers were helpful and friendly. Got what I needed and some. Great prices and goods. Will definitely be returning?”

“The air machine says it needs money but if you ask they will just turn it on. Kinda sucks they don't tell me about my fuel points until I tell them how much gas I want though, like extra 20 off a gallon I might have gotten more gas lol. Good people though.”

“Clean, quaint, small-town vibe with the all-inclusive small-town, southern-type-of-hospitality, where you're treated not just like a customer, but a neighbor and friend and not a number in line. The only purpose for removing 1 star was because the products seem to be set at prices that are not suitable for the penny-pincher, bargain shopper, which that's the name of the game when you're in an area that's too far from the bargain bulk grocery stores, so it's expected. Outside of that, it's a very lovely place to shop.”

“This place has super friendly staff. My car croaked during my 70 mile commute home and I was able to get it into the parking lot at this DG. The staff were super friendly and didn't hassle me about popping the hood and waiting a few hours for a tow. The gentleman working on 7/17/24 in the evening/afternoon was extremely friendly, kind and definitely an asset for DG. When my wife and kids came to pick me up the young lady working was very kind to them. I wish the DG near me had staff that was this amazing!”
“Prices are a little high, but not outrageous, and their "2 for $X" deals on drinks are usually pretty good. Selection is okay, not great, but they have the basics you expect from a small convenience store. Their hours are pretty decent, it's nice to have something open late on this side of town. I will say they have the coldest drinks in town. Shell, Dollar General, and Riverside keep their coolers so warm that it is not nice or refreshing to grab a bottle of water or soda on a hot day because they are basically room temperature. But in my experience, Southside usually has ice cold drinks and that counts for a lot.”
“In town visiting family and stopped in the get a couple of Sanders Bumpy Cakes since we don't have them in Oklahoma. Clean store and found what we wanted (and then some! ?).”
“Great group of people who work here, always helpful. This store is kept clean and very organized.. nice to have a quick place to grab stuff close to home. The manager goes outta her way to help every customer.”
“It is near by and being that my local one is across the the street from family Dollarif they don't have something I can go across the street and get it at family dollar”
“Who doesn't like a dollar general? Well I do. It is a quick stop and shop. Perfect if you need a poster board for a kids school project, deodorant for a date, cleaning supplies because a kid vomited in the car, or you simply want a cheap t-shirt or socks. Dollar General is a dollar store upgrade. This store was busy as it was a few days before Christmas and I suspect stocking staffers where needed. Nothing like BBQ pork rhins and eggnog to get the holiday kicking.”

“I primarily come here to pick up prescriptions, however occasionally I will buy Kroger brand low dose aspirin, Kroger brand diphenhydramine. They have really good prices on their store brands.”
“This Kroger is a bit outdated compared to so many but they do the best with what they got however today when I was in there a manager was scolding an employee in front of the check out lanes and customers. Apparently this employee wasn't using the correct mop bucket. This is a conversation that could've been had somewhere more private. One, it's not appropriate to scold your employees in front of customers and two I probably wouldn't announce to all the customers that the same bucket that cleans the store is the same bucket he accidentally used for the bathrooms. Some common sense and critical thinking skills from the upper management would go a long way.”

“The girls at my store on Sheridan road really work hard and they don't get a lot of credit for what they're doing but I think they're the best always there for me very polite friendly and even help me out to my car what more could you ask”
