“Golden Hour took me by surprise. I’m quick to love an independent bookstore, but this one is my optimal shopping experience for many reasons.

1) The curation. I find books from my TBR and books I’ve never heard of but am super intrigued by. Bonus: you’ll find a mix of new, gently used, and discounted books—and fun bookish goodies. 2) The owner. Shelby is a lovely person period. And her recommendations (for your own reading and for gifts) are truly top tier. 3) The space. The vibe is cozy and peaceful, and everything is clean and well organized. And the size is a factor for me. Shopping is an easier, less stressful experience because I can peruse the entire store without feeling overwhelmed or exhausted.

I will be returning repeatedly for fun finds for myself, my family and gifts.”

When they posted about their clearance sale being online, I gave no second thought to a late night gifting haul. I was shocked at how quick my order arrived, less than 48 hours later!
