“This motel was very clean, the view was beautiful from our Lakeview room, and the owner was so friendly and accommodating. We also loved that it was just a one mile walk to our favorite restaurant and ferry.”

“I needed a room for extra night, my motel hadn't vacancy, I called Knights Inn. The woman was very kind, & let me check in immediately that early afternoon. My room was clean, had plenty of towels, & wash clothes. They have liquid dial soap dispensers, so nice no "micro-mini" bars of soap! But, no tissues or lotion in room. The room & bathroom were pretty small, but actually of normal size for an older motel, but again my room, was clean. Bed & pillows comfortable, bedspread & sheets clean, no issues. It's an older motel, so if you want updated & a bigger room this isn't the place for you. No hairdryer or microwave in room, but they have hairdyers available in the office & a microwave guests may use. The location is right down from the bridge/park. I had no problem with traffic noise considering it's by the beginning/on ramp of the bridge. I didn't have their breakfast, so can't comment on that. If you want a no frills, just a place to sleep room with kind staff & located by the bridge Knights Inn is a good choice. It is also right next door Audies Restaurant, I've eaten there several times on trips to Mackinaw, good food.”

“Our overall stay was great, being off season there wasnt much to do but we were looking to have a couples night away from kids so it was ok. Walking to the bridge (2 mile round trip) and glanced around some shops. Not a 5 star but serves the purpose. Pool was warm and decent (open 10am-midnight). We had the choice to visiting the indoor Waterpark included in our stay, but that is more for families and kids, not adults, we plan to return with kids later and will utilize that.Rooms: Room was super clean and ready for us to check in early. Was a little run down and worn down but it served the purpose of having a night away from kids. Jacuzzi worked great and was clean. It was a nice couples night.Nearby activities: Mackinac Crossings, visitors center, beachesWalkability: We walked a mile to the visitor center/park that's right at the bridge. The Mackinac Crossings shopping strip was close by, and so were a few restaurants and food options. I would recommend B.C. Pizza who delivered to our room! Food was awesome, worth the price.Food & drinks: Complementary breakfast was average but was a good start to the day. Options of ham, little pancakes, waffle maker, bread/bagel/cinnamon breads and toaster, cereal/milk, coffee, water, and OJ. Granola bars, fruit, and whole apples as well.”

“Departed unscathed and mentally stronger Great chance to overcome your fears of liminal spaces! This establishment is kind enough to furnish a full "backrooms"experience in order for you to confront and overcome your fears. You won't wander forever, although it seems like it at times, and the feeling of finally able to escape the glitchy reality of this hotel and breathe the outside air with its secondhand smoke and exhaust is psychologically liberating. I fear liminal spaces no more, because thanks to Crowne, I have returned from one. I highly recommend the west stairwell at night. The suffocating heat and thick air really sell a deep underground facility experience. Amenities: An ironing board perfectly sized to wedge against the door. This was clearly the sole purpose, as no iron was provided. I was a little concerned because the board top was not attached, but it held. The door also had a handy gap on the bottom and right side, acting as a supplemental to the peephole. The vents on bathroom fans at hotels are often filthy, but Crowne cut this Gordian knot by simply removing it. You do what you want, but you might want to blast on past AMC if The Shining happens to be playing. Better yet, don't turn on the television at all. Maybe don't even think about The Shining.”
