“I use this post office for business and personal mailings. They are very helpful and you can use stamps or pay any way. The Troy location was cash only when I went and was busy as heck. The masonic location is never overcrowded when I go and am met with professional employees.”
“This little Post Office has some of the nicest, most helpful staff I’ve ever encountered! I should add that I brought in like 17 awkwardly shaped boxes for express shipping (with no notice other than I remotely printed my shipping labels), and the woman at the counter was so helpful and patient as I ran back to my car 6 times to grab more boxes! I was very grateful to her for her attitude and professionalism.”
“Our mailbox got knocked over from the heavy snow and the subdivisions snow plowings last week. Quick service n was shocked they were able to hold our mail in less than 24 hrs after I signed up online to have my mail held for pickup! A+”
“I don't live in New Haven, but tried out this post office because I'm scared of my local post office in my hometown (VERY unfriendly staff who always yells at me). I was pleasantly surprised to find that the woman who worked there not only did not give me an attitude (first time for that) but that she was actually friendly. “It appears as though this location is consistantly operated by just one postal service employee. She appears to be overworked. May be reason for her unfriendly demeanor. However i find that speaking to her with kindness & empathy brightens her attitude.”
“I don't know how I got so lucky but I had a great experience at this post office. I admitidly have only been in the post office once that I can remember as an adult. I have never needed to send verified mail before. When I walked in I was greeted by both employees, and (I feel so bad for not getting the name) the female postal worker came out to the keosk to walk me through sending the letter and sending it the right way. She offered this help paitently as I clearly had no idea what I was doing. While out there regulars were coming in to check thier boxes, she greeted them they all seemed to know eachother by name. It was almost like a family diner feel. So I don't know who is rude there but my interactions were 5 stars.”
“I put the wrong address on an important package and it was lost in an apartment complex next to the office I expected the delivery at. Velda Young found my package which was business cards and called my cell on the card to let me know she had them. She waited for me to come and meet her and gave me the package I had lost. She went above and beyond to make sure I got my package and saved me time, money and hassle of reordering. She has restored my faith in humanity and there are still great people out there who hold their profession on a higher standard than just another paycheck. Thank you Velda!!!”
“Today's visit to the Mt Clemens Post Office was so unexpected. With all the terrible reviews posted, I expected to have a non-pleasant experience. This couldn't be farther from the truth, at least for today, Friday at 10:05 am. With very little parking available at this office, I was able to get the closest spot near the front entrance. All mailing supplies were stocked. The staff was abundant (4-5 clerks) and less than 5 customers for the 15 mins I was there. Staff was very friendly, maybe because I took the liberty of filling out my certified mail with return receipt, myself. All greeted me as I walked up. I was very happy with the service I received, today.”
