“Love this store not only do you find good quality items and great deals but the staff is so friendly . If I’m being honest I’m disappointed anytime I go to any other thrift store because they don’t compare.”

“Wandered In There spring of 2026. Its a Good Will Now and Not a CVS. (Got an Awsome Name Brand Pair of Jeans for A Cheap Price) Really coild care a less if I ever go in there again unless I am with my SEXY SWEET Black Man Friend
(NOT SURE WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS IN Management.) THE GOOD WILL NEEDS TO HAVE Electronic Battery Operated Motor Scooter Carts, and they Should have had those when it was A CVS too.”

“Several used furniture options, with chairs, couches and loveseats. I didn't takes photos this time since we were helping a family in need. We estimated about two dozen couches, most with affordable pricing. Friendly staff.
We'll be back.”

“These are the BEST resale stores ever. I have shopped at at least 4 of them, however the Warren store has been my favorite since 2011. My granddaughter has been shopping with me since she was a little girl, she's nineteen now and she loves shopping there as well. I tell people I meet all the time about this place when asked where did I get this or that, I proudly say Value World. I brag about you a lot. Thanks for being such a great, and convenient place to shop.

Sincerely,
Your biggest fan”

“Honestly? This one of the most awesome mom and pop Christian thrift stores I have ever been to. There are items that you didn't know that you need and they are there. They have awesome vinyl for a good and reasonable price. If you are a thrifting enthusiast and need to look for something different. Look no more! :)”

“I'm so grateful for the incredible work the Salvation Army does! Their dedication to helping those in need truly shines through. It's inspiring to see their efforts make such a positive impact. I'm always happy to support such a worthy cause. They provide so much hope and support to so many people. Truly a five-star organization! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #SalvationArmy #Charity #CommunitySupport #MakingADifference #Gratitude”

“The staff are really nice here. I’ve never had to wait very long in line. I often find fun games for my kid and interesting home decor here. I like the mission of the store and many of the customers I have overheard talking about how Grace centers of Hope saved their lives. It’s nice to find a smaller store, unlike Salvation Army and Value World. Thank you for giving back to the community Grace center of hope”

“One of my favorite local Value Worlds, great selection, reasonable pricing as long as you aren't looking for name brand items then its just not even in question.. wish they would stop price gouging on higher end items again just to make an extra buck and make things even less obtainable for others... but ya'know that seems to be how everything is lately. They make money while we struggle to pay for clothes... anyways, great selection.”

“Just had Jason & Norman come to a client's house and remove furniture and housewares for donation; super courteous with my elderly client, explained in detail items that they could/couldn't take (totally reasonable reasons!), and made sure to respect the home and carpets. A true pleasure to work with! Thanks Jason, Norm, and the whole GCoH crew!”

“Hey guys dropping in for some QTNA, I just spoke with Tania and she was so helpful! Yes, Detroit Closet does buy shoes, clothes and accessories from 1-3pm on weekends. On weekdays it depends on how long they will buy but it’s based off their budget for the day. They open at 12 noon and close around 6pm. Hope this helps bc it helped me!”

“The Southfield Store is clean and organized. Each time I visited the store, they have shopping carts and the staff have been friendly. Pay attention to the color of the week for 50% off of clothes and household items.”

“Don’t get me wrong, I love this store, it’s a hidden gem, people are always friendly, and you can find real antiques here…but the last few weeks prices are getting crazy— $339.99 for a cow skin foot stool????? I have one from Homegoods for a 3rd of that price brand new. Watch it Centerline!!! There are seniors and just regular people shopping here not Millionaires.”

“I live in the area and stop into this location at least once a month. I always find incredible brands and high-quality items at this store. The inventory is frequently changing, and they always have new items to browse. I have found that the prices are fair for the nicer selection that is offered, and overall the store is very clean and organized. This Monday, I was in the store shopping and an employee, Bill, was extremely friendly and helpful. The only thing I am disappointed about is all of the Salvation Army locations ended their student/teacher discounts, which is quite the bummer. I do still love coming to this store and always find amazing treasures!”

“It's my understanding this is a new location. The store was clean and nicely organized. I thought the prices were fair. My only problem was there wasno one at checkout. When I first came in, I noticed another customer waiting at the front, then afee minutes later when I had something I wanted to buy, again no one was there. My husband had to go find someone because we stood there several minutes without anyone noticing. Maybe a bell, or a clear line of sight from the backroom to the front of the store is needed....just suggestions.”
