“My family has hosted multiple events at this banquet hall and every single one has been an absolute success, from 1995 to current! From start to finish, the experience has been seamless, and that’s thanks to the incredible staff, especially Michael and Kristen. They are always so welcoming, accommodating, and go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly.
The food is absolutely amazing — every time we’ve had the catering, it’s been top-notch, and our guests always rave about it! The entire place is spotless and very well-maintained, which adds to the overall positive atmosphere. (I promise the alfredo and chocolate cover strawberries alone seal the deal for me ever since day one!!)
Whether it’s a big event or a smaller gathering, the team here is always friendly and makes sure you feel right at home. I highly recommend this banquet hall for any event — you won’t be disappointed!”

“We just had our wedding here yesterday (September 13th) and it was an amazing event. The staff is extremely friendly and fun to work with. The building itself has a lot of charm and lovely aesthetic. A lovely gallery to look at and enjoy a long with a beautiful outside courtyard. “We had an amazing experience with MCC and couldn’t have been happier with how beautifully everything came together for our event. The newly renovated space is absolutely stunning, with a gorgeous layout, a large dance floor, and plenty of room for a big celebration. They also have a gorgeous bridal suite and it was so helpful to be able to mentally prepare there and escape to for touch-ups! It’s an incredible venue for larger events and can comfortably accommodate hundreds of guests.
The staff truly went above and beyond to bring our vision to life. From providing full access to their kitchen for our caterers to custom arranging a floorplan, podiums for speeches, easels for displays, red ropes for dessert tables, and all the little details in between, they were incredibly accommodating and willing to help make our event feel personalized and special. Their serving staff was also friendly, professional, and helped create a wonderful experience for our guests.
One tip for future couples: while email communication can sometimes be a little delayed, I highly recommend calling or stopping by in person throughout the planning process — the team is much easier to connect with directly, and visiting the space helps bring your vision together. Overall, we are so grateful for the venue and staff for helping make our celebration unforgettable!”

It might be different upstairs. Large basement-like party downstairs. Mature (safe) crowd and mostly street parking due to small lot. Limited soul food menu $15-$20 for a short period of time. “As a wedding photographer, this is a GREAT place for a wedding, especially if it's on the larger side. There is so much space to mingle, the dancefloor is huge, and there's also amazing outdoor spaces (not to mention the docks-- if you're lucky you'll get a banger of a sunset on a clear night!) The staff and food-- also amazing. If you're interested in booking, don't hesitate!”

“Had the pleasure of attending an anniversary fellowship dinner and the space was great. The servers were excellent and friendly, the food was regular banquet food, however the roasted red potatoes were excellent...seasoned well. The Manicotti was sub par as it had no seasoning and just a watery tomato sauce. Overall it was good, clean and presented as being well taken care of.”
