“Very peaceful place, it's a good store to hang out at to get some snacks, chat with friends, and recycle some soda cans. I don't go in here often but when I do, I always get a good slice of pizza and run into a few of my pals.”

“The service here is always amazing service with a smile is still a thing at this store! The prices are quite fair also if you're looking for ice cream this is a place I would recommend to stop. The workers are friendly I have been there many times and always walk out with a smile. I have seen them help people total strangers and they go beyond their job to help if they can. The best place to stop for a break or to get gas it's an all around best place for almost anything you might need! The flavors of ice cream are great too.”

“I stopped at Chuck's Corner on July 7, 2026. I just needed gas and a snack to get to the East side of the state.
My total came to $50.57. I walked in and there was a man standing at the counter having a polite conversation with the man working. They both said hello. Then I went to pay and the man gave me back a 50 and told me not to worry about the change.
I know it doesn't seem like much. But, that simple act of kindness had me crying for a good 25 miles. It had been a very hard week and I was just stopping on my way through. It was that down home feeling that I haven't seen in over 20 years. (new to the area) It was just the kind of relaxed atmosphere that takes the edge off before that long drive.
I wasn't even sure what the place was called. I had to go into my Google app to see where I had stopped. I will make it a habit to shop here when I'm out that way. It isn't far from our place in Cadillac.
Thank you to the man working that Monday morning. You made me feel like a person that day. It just doesn't happen often these days.”
