“I was asked by Parker to leave a review, one full year ago. I purposely waited a full year because I thought to myself “why would I leave any review when I barely know anything about this car or this establishment?”
Parker was extremely helpful on making sure I got my 2019 Escape. I mentioned my concern for safety and reliance in a vehicle because I’m a young mother, he showed me all the cool things this car had to offer for car seats and family outings.
He was very patient with my partner and i as we came to discuss mileage and repairs, car notes, all sorts of things. (First time buying a car from a lot)
Within my year of owning my car, I have had 0 issues making and planning appointments/getting into contact with Station45.
I feel as though I was sold a very good and reliable car that will more than likely be my child’s first car 16 years from now!

“Nice selection of clean, rust free, used vehicles, most with new tires. I was looking for a 4wd SUV, something with low mileage for the year, clean inside and out. They had several vehicles that fit that criteria for me and in the price range I was looking for. I did a background check on a few vehicles. I knew that they came from Florida and could see the standard maintenance performed. Buying any used vehicle is a gamble. But if you can see that oil changes have been done on time and other general maintenance performed it helps make an informed decision. I am a do it yourselfer. I inspected the vehicle inside and out and the undercarriage. The vehicle being rust free was a top priority for me since I new I was buying a 12 year old vehicle with almost 100k miles. I knew there would be some general maintenance issues coming up and that makes working on it and replacing worn parts so much easier than buying a used Michigan rust bucket. Time, use, weather, and Mileage wear things out. It's not a question of if something will go wrong with any vehicle. Things will wear out and need replaced. I have had the vehicle for close to 6 months and driven almost 8000 miles now. Purchased with about 92000 miles and just rolled over 100,000 miles. I just replaced the front passenger side wheel bearing that started making noise a few weeks ago. Simple to do since this is a clean rust free car. $190.00 part an online auto parts wholesaler and 2 hours on a Saturday and it is fixed. For reference a local repair shop quoted me $450 for the part and $250 for labor. This is typical wear and tear and to be expected when I bought a now 13 year old vehicle with over 100k miles. I never expected the dealer to have a crystal ball that sees in to the future and replace every part on every car that he sells that might go bad. That would be incredibly unreasonable. There is a reason that even car manufacturers limit their bumper to bumper and powertrain warranties on new vehicles. Parts have a reasonable expected service life. I knew that I was buying an older used vehicle AS IS. I don't recall the name of the person I dealt with at Westbrook Motors. I assumed he was the owner. He was friendly, and very easy going. He was not a used car salesman trying to sell me something to make a buck. He let me look at what I was interested and made the buying process quick and easy. I never got the impression that he was anything but honest about what he knew about the vehicles on the lot. Even tho it was an AS IS purchase he said if there is something minor that happens in the next few weeks after the sale like a sensor, or bulb, to come in and he'd take care of it. I don't expect to be in the market for a new to me used vehicle for a several years now but when I am, I will definitely check here again.”

We needed her to get her own vehicle before school began this year to be independent with getting to school & work since our schedules changed and we couldn't get her there anymore.

My salesperson, Maria, was very helpful and attentive throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, my equinox was found to have a leak, but the Baker team addressed this issue completely and efficiently. You must always be proactive when purchasing a new vehicle, and I was impressed at how committed Baker Auto Grandville is to providing their customers with quality service and vehicles. I wanted to also mention, Bri from the service center was also very friendly and knowledgeable! My experience with the service center has led me to decide that I will be coming here for all service needs of my new 2016 equinox.
Ultimately, communication of BOTH parties is key when purchasing a new vehicle, so I would take some of those negative reviews with a grain of salt.
