Being in the auto reconditioning & detail business myself for a long period of time many years ago, now several years later being 2025, I have that same love that Dale’s has, I NOW a chance to choose my once was but still in business 35 years later competitor,, DALE’A AUTO reconditioning in detail company located in the same place Mount Clemens, Michigan were is love may just be a bite more than mine. My wife had asked me Mike my boss Joe has an older vehicle that he needs to be detailed and reconditioned, it had been sitting in the garage for 20 years. Red little sports car convertible paint completely oxidized, inside look like the birds nest, rims look like they were rusted and couldn’t be cleaned, car had a funky smell. The engine was completely covered car had scratches had torn interior etc. when I picked it up and dropped it off to Dale’s, I had to chuckle to myself and found my myself saying OK Dale, let’s see how good this guy really is. Needs less to say when we finally at the phone call to pick it up. I didn’t even make it fully in the parking lot. I was pulled in the approach and I could see that car from six cars away. Let me add this, from the torn wore out seats to the once was rusted busted looking rims to all the years of weathering scratches, etc. Dale‘s auto reconditioning and detailing located in Mount Clemens without a doubt has the best reputation and made a car that looked like it was worth $1500. Make it look like it would be worth $10,000. And by the way Joe who own’s the little red sports car was from West Bloomfield. He’s a corporate attorney, picky cheap frugal etc. he is not one to pick up the phone and go that extra mile and pay it Foward al let dale know just how awesome the car looked and how it made Joe feel. BUT the heck with Joe my self having the love and passion along with the OCD and having an excessive compulsive’s to everything being a one clean, it is really is a Huge pleasure to give this five star review for a guy I couldn’t hold a candle 35 years later providing this type of service, if you are the type who loves keeping your vehicle A1 clean cause that’s the way you represent yourself, are you planning on selling your car and you wanna get top dollar? “Typical, what i would expect from any small lot. All the crying from the other ppl is ridiculous, what do you expect from a 2k car with 200,000 miles. Hundres of dollars in tune ups and fluids, plus thousands in suspension or transmission repairs, lol. Do the math, car cost÷2,000$, repairs=2,300$ , there not in business to lose money, if you want a premium car, finance a 25k certified vehicle, or roll the dice on a 2k car. Now, the one I looked at, had a trans that was not shifting, they assured me it was shifting, I passed and and bought another 2k beat up beater somewhere else though.”
