Isabella Cat Clinic
1635 E Broomfield St G, Mt PleasantThis place is great. Doctor is a remarkable, highly intelligent woman. She isn't the friendliest person, but she REALLY cares about animals and pets and they use the safest/most humane treatments they can in every situation. As long as you don't say anything too uh... questionable - you're going to have a good experience.

Pet Sitting & Training

Bed & Biscuit Pet Resort
4220 E Baseline Rd, Mt PleasantNancy was very friendly. She reassured me that my dog would be safe in her care. Kennels were clean, and everything smelt clean. I have a 1yr old female German Shepherd that I was concerned with trying to jump a fence but once I seen how high the fences are I'm not worried. I'm going to be dropping my pup off for a doggie daycare day in a couple weeks to see how she does.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Max & Emily's Bakery Cafe
125 E Broadway St, Mt PleasantThis is a must visit place! Not only is the food delicious, environment friendly, and is located in the heart of downtown; but, the team that works there, the owner Elmo, and manager Brandy work so hard to put on amazing programs for the community. From feeding hundreds of people facing food insecurity EVERY Sunday through their People Helping People program to putting on stellar community driven free summer concerts, Max & Emily's Eatery exceeds all expectations and goes above and beyond what a "normal" sandwich shop can do. This is not a "normal" sandwich shop, this is a must go to location that I will always support and you should too!

Humane Animal Treatment Society (HATS)
1105 S Isabella Rd, Mt PleasantShort version: Amazing place. Incredibly clean AND they really know the personalities of the animals in their care.
Long version: I went in to look at a dog I saw online. I already had a dog of that breed that I adore and knew what to expect from a high energy breed. They had me fill out paperwork and asked some questions. Then asked if I would be open to meeting other dogs within my criteria because the dog I came to see didn't do well with small dogs, which I have one in the house. I agreed to meeting other dogs. The canine supervisor looked over my paperwork and came back with some suggestions of dogs that would fit my lifestyle. She asked if I wanted to meet them I agreed. They had me go out to the kennel and wait for her to bring out a dog named Echo. It was like the cutest blind date ever when the staff member came outside with the cutest dog and biggest ears lol. I'll spare you all the rest of the story, but Echo is now Hazel and lives her best life with our family. She is a smart dog with high energy but also knows how to couch potato with the best of them!
I cannot say enough positive things about this place. They are incredibly thorough and really get to know the potential adopter and pair them with a dog that meets their needs. The canine supervisor truly KNEW the dogs in her care and their personality. I also liked the meet and greet with my current dogs. It was great to see how they interacted before I commited.
