PetSmart is a large pet supply and services retailer offering a wide selection of products for many types of pets. The store carries specialized food brands and is noted for reliably stocking specific items that pets need. It provides services including pet grooming, where staff are described as friendly and skilled, putting owners at ease and providing good care. The store also offers pet adoption. Some customers report positive experiences with the available services and product selection. However, there are repeated complaints about inaccurate online stock information for specific animals, leading to frustration. A further concern is the practice of wing-clipping on birds available for adoption, which some customers believe is dangerous and defeats the purpose of them being birds. Despite these issues, for many it remains a necessary destination for essential pet supplies.
