I was having trouble with my CVS ExtraCare Bucks showing up at the register, even though they appeared correctly in my mobile app. Susan went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue. While single‑handedly managing multiple registers — including three regular lanes and self‑checkout — she still made the time to ensure I received the benefits I had earned. Over the course of roughly 30 minutes, she moved seamlessly from customer to customer, assisting me in between guests without ever making me feel like an inconvenience. She even attempted to call for additional support from the back of the store, but no one came to assist her. Despite this, Susan remained patient, professional, and determined to help. The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
