“Today my BMW overheated and we pulled in to the gas pump. We knew we had to let the vehicle cool down, so we went in and got drinks, Popcorn, and cookies. We then got back to our vehicle and tried start the car, not thinking we had left our doors open. Now the battery is dead and we need a jump. I walk back into the gas station and ask for help. Adan, and I hope I'm saying his name right. Was all about helping any way he could. I don't know the girls name, but she was trying to help too. We ended up buying jumper cables there and Adan pulled his vehicle up to give us a jump and get us on our way. I just want to say, it was nice to have help! Thank you very much for going above and beyond for us today! Great Job!”

“Hi Everybody. You all know that this Marathon Station is the happiest place on earth, the Silver lake Sand Dunes. I spent close to $300 there this weekend and I loved every minute of it. Casey, a young woman who works behind the register and is apparently the manager, was very helpful. First I got my ORV permits, trail and other, for $39. That was yesterday, Saturday. Bought some Crown Royal Whiskey and went back to my hotel in Hart. It's called the Last Resort and it is excellent. Apparently run by 22 year old women like Casey, except these girls are still in high school. Kennedy and Jill are their names. You should get a room there during your trip to the Sand Dunez if Humanly Possible. My off season rate is $70.
Back to the Marathon. Got kicked out of the Sand Dunes by the DNR on Sunday. My Dune Flag was a piece of something. A DNR agent put on his red and blues as soon as I got to the Sand Dunes. Long Story Short, another $100 was spent at the Marathon getting the proper hardware and a brand new dune Flag Im 58 years old and I drive a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited as my Daily Driver. Today was my first day on Trails in 6 or 7 years . Very Grateful to Casey, who is actually more like 35 and probably an owner. I will ask her to have dinner with me tomorrow night after she gets off work and I am done with 6 crazy hours in the Jeep. Good night, Silver Lake Marathon and Casey. Stay classy”

“I think the name has changed now to marathon. It is still a quick stop for gas or snacks. They have bathrooms as well! They even sell bait for fishing if that is what you need. I got 3 car stickers from there as well as rainbow cake!”

“Great place to fuel up before jumping on 31. Fuel prices are usually in line with other stations and they have a good selection of snacks and drinks for the people in the car. Easy access in/out from the road.”

“Owners and Staff are very friendly and helpful. They double checked to make sure my order was what I was expecting and was very quick for how busy they are. Items in store are all fair value for location and had odds and ends needed in a pinch (bolts and washers). Their branded merchandise looked high quality and well designed. Definitely making it a regular lunch stop for us when we come up to visit the Bosco sticks are amazing!”

“This BP is a racket for sticking it to people with diesel vehicles. All other gas stations have GREEN HANDLES FOR DIESEL! THIS BP HAS ALL GREEN HANDLES FOR GAS. What a way to ruin someone's motor. You should post it BIG "GREEN Handles ARE GASOLINE, NOT DIESEL"!!!!!”
