βIn 8 years of living in the area, I've been here more times than I could count. Has there been issues, yes, but nothing I see out of the ordinary for a retail store. I'm not going to give them a bad rating off of one employee interaction. I guess I have been very lucky as I haven't had a bad experience here. They have good prices and some great bargins. It's also meant for convenience, so I expect to pay a bit more for some things. Overall I give them a 5 star .β
βLove shopping at the base! My only concern is the dates of the expiration dates! The cost of the food is cheaper than Meijer, Kroger, and city stores. However, the expiration dates on cheese, bacon, and beef sometimes not followed! I go to the commissary once every 2 months. When I go, I spend approximately $600 when I go! To me, the commissary can't be beat! For people who are not veterans or service members, they are not aware of the savings. Trust me, the prices can't be beat!β
βGreat place to get meats. Is like a small country store too. You can get what you need here. I drive through this area sometimes for work and when I head back home I'll stop here and get some good meats for the homestead. People that work there are super good,β
βDavid is the nicest guy, I go out of my way to come here for anything I need. Prices are all below average, and on the rare occasion he doesnβt have what Iβm looking for, he will do everything he can to get it and set it aside for me. You just donβt get this type of service in a party store much anymore.β

βLove Nino's fruit & veggies so fresh & tasty They have an amazing deli, bakery for breads and dessert, they have a prepared foods section where you can go through a line- cafeteria style & pick up several quick lunch or dinner options that they put in containers, just tell them what you want & what together in your take out container ( plastic bottom with clear top to see inside). I get several meals made up then freeze for quick take out options during busy days during the week. The have fresh meat & seafood, different ethnic foods and dry goods & spices, honestly you can find anything at Nino's plus store very clean.
Great place I could spend a couple hours going through looking at all the different foods and probably still wouldn't see it all.
If you haven't gone yet you'll be amazed at all there is.β

βNice, rather small but sufficient, clean, good quality . I prefer this store over the Meijer across the street. Finally we have another option close by with better prices and good organic and healthy food.β
βWanted to express our appreciation for Deborah (we think thatβs her name) today. The weather was terrible and my husband was involved in a fender bender. While waiting for the tow truck, he sought shelter to get warm at the Chesterfield, Mi sore and Deborah was very kind and let him stay there to keep warm, then brought him a chair so he could sit while waiting. She was kind and was a bright spot on a dreary day.β
βFor delivery to 26750 23 Mile Rd the entrance is the second driveway on the right after you turn onto E Russell Schmidt Blvd. It's a gravel lot with potholes like most have. There's 2 docks and check in is on the side of the building. Quick unloading.β
βStop at this store everyday and the owners are amazing. They have ordered specialty products for me. They are very friendly and have such a great attitude everyday. Very big variety of items. I will continue to go here daily!!β
βHad to write a review specific to the bakery! My daughter's birthday party is tomorrow (1/5) & I had planned to go get a cake from Costco. Not wanting to make the drive, I decided to grab a cake from the fridge at Vinckiers & if my daughter liked it, I'd order one here instead. We ALL enjoyed it so I went back on Thursday to place the order. I told them she technically wanted Disney princesses as a "theme" but anything pink and super girly would also make her happy. They delivered tenfold! She's obsessed with roses (her middle name, named after her great grandma Rose) so she absolutely loved seeing it. They also threw in a free mini doll cake for her and even included the dress for the doll after we removed it from the cake. We're so happy with the half sheet cake and couldn't get over how sweet it was that they gave her something special. She was beaming!β
βThis is a great place to pick up sandwiches and pizzas. Everything has always been on point and the staff is friendly and helpful. The cooler is the closest around so drinks are ice coldβ

βTiny little shop but they have every dried chile you could possibly want. The girl at the counter is always nice, they sell a decent amount of boxed and canned goods, they have a small freezer section and some baked goods too. The ice cream stuff is great. Prices are low.β
βLove their prices and they sell good tasting products even tho it's their brand, I can barely tell a difference. They're brands also have popular flavors. And they are the only store I found that sells pop in a 12 pk for 5 something.β
βClosest to home and has EVERYTHING that I would need! A very friendly cashier works there, she helped me find the right swifter duster. I was able to make a receipted exchange with no problems for a previous item I had bought three weeks prior.β

βSuper sweet employees! Over the past summer my pregnant wife and son were in a little fender bender in the parking lot for the Kroger fuel station. The employee not only checked on my wife and kid but also provided a statement for police and we were fortunate it was all on camera as well so our insurance covered all the damages :) the Kroger's savings are great as well!β
βI was looking to potentially buy outside furniture and Shabana really helped me a lot. She offered great examples on how to save money and buy the best deal possible. Give this customer hostess a raise!

βthis store has the best service i have seen in quite some time. everything is easy to find in the aisles and there so many things to look at! they have this display section that always has different themes like dolly parton, lilo and stick, halloween displays, and so sooo much more. the display table has anything ranging from cooking utensils to lighting to plushies! the amazing staff at this location are always so helpful and go above and beyond when it comes to customer service. specially jacob and julia at checkout. they took so much care and time in assist me with my transaction. they showed great care and compassion in ensuring i was satisfied even though it was nearing close and i had an incredibly large order. shoutout to jacob and julia!!! every visit to this store is a great one. COME SHOP YALL!!!β

βI have lived in town for a few years but never made it in to DG until I had a FedEx drop off to take care of. DG is the only FedEx services location in Richmond.
I was talking into the store with an empty water bottle to throw away, and a kind associate grabbed a trash bin so I could throw my items away. I expect that kind of service at a fancy hotel, but not a convenience store. I learned the helpful associateβs name is Leslie.

βI go to Meyer and Kroger, but I prefer Myers layout. Because the aisles are so much wider.. I will say kroger has much better fresh fish... Kroger's just kind of a Not a benefit as far as the gasoline, usually their gas. Even when you get the discount, there's no cheaper than surrounding gas stations.β
