“We absolutely HAVE to give a huge shoutout to Jason! This guy was seriously the best part of our stop. He was so incredibly knowledgeable about rock hunting in the U.P. and took so much time explaining things to us, answering our questions, giving us tips, and basically fueling what was already becoming a slight rock-hunting obsession. 😂 Jason has one of those personalities that makes you feel like you've known him forever. Super friendly, funny, patient, and genuinely excited to share what he knows. You could tell he wasn't just giving us the standard tourist spiel, this man knows his stuff! And apparently I took his rock-hunting advice a little too seriously, because before the weekend was over, I was waist-deep in absolutely FRIGID Lake Superior for nearly two hours looking for rocks, getting out every so often just long enough to regain feeling in my legs before heading right back in. 😂🥶 People kept asking if I was a local because apparently no sane tourist does that in late September. I even managed to find a Yooperlite that night, so I'm calling the whole adventure a WIN! Jason, thank you for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with us and helping make our U.P. adventure even more memorable. You are an absolute gem — PUN FULLY INTENDED! Seriously, give this man a raise!”

“We had a great stay! The room was clean and comfortable. While a little dated, it was perfectly acceptable. The service, however, was absolutely A++++! I accidentally booked a room with one queen bed instead of two, and they went above and beyond to get it straightened out for us. The complimentary snacks were such a nice touch, and having breakfast included was another huge bonus! It’s those little extras and the outstanding customer service that really make a difference. We would happily stay here again!”

“The food was alright, service was good. They had a salad/soup bar that came with the meal I ordered. (Was a nice touch to the experience) Overall rating id give it 8/10.”
