“We went there for dinner with my family of six on the Friday after Labor Day. Friendly staff. Very attentive. Somebody had recommended the chickpea salad and it was amazing. The meatballs are superlative. And we had three pizzas, the pepperoni, a cheese and the potato and raclette. All A+. I would rate it as one of the top restaurants on Leelanau peninsulaKid-friendliness: Couple of toddlers there and they seemed happy”

“One of the most beautiful, charming, and special wedding venues in Northen Michigan! If you want your wedding or event to feel unique - I can't recommend this hidden gem enough. It's a family owned business that only puts on one wedding per weekend, so we felt incredibily well taken care of. Mimi hooked us up with a complimentary champagne wall and even made her own homemade syrup on-site for one our signature cocktails. 10/10 would recommend. “We stayed at the Leland Lodge as part of a giveaway through Great Lakes Travel. Our group of 5 friends connecting five decades of life's journeys gathered for a weekend and the Leland Lodge was perfect. Staff accommodated us throughout our stay and we enjoyed the quietness of the area and even ventured out for a Midnight walk in the fresh snow. We appreciated the historic integrity of the Lodge, yet felt it had the amenities we needed. Highly recommend.Nearby activities: Wineries, quaint shops and excellent restaurants are in close proximity to the Leland Lodge.Safety: We ventured out at Midnight for a stroll through town and the neighborhood without any worry.Food & drinks: Bogey's has a hometown feel. Food was fresh and good and the service was excellent.”

“We spent our amazing "mini-moon" at the Inn at Black Star Farms. This was the first time we stayed at the Inn and we do plan to be back. The staff was friendly, David greeted us at check-in and check-out, great service all around from the front desk to the tasting room on property. Although we did not take advantage of all the wonderful amenities since our stay was short, we are looking forward to being back soon. I loved being able to see the horses from our room. We received a complimentary bottle of wine in our room but of course had to purchase a bottle of our favorite Late Harvest Riesling to share on our 1 year anniversary.”
