“Had a wonderful meal with my wife at Faro last night! We got the garlic focaccia starter and then shared the N'duja sausage pizza. Everything was absolutely delicious!

The reason I'm knocking a star off the rating is that it feels like the place could use some better management. We first walked in around 6:05 and were greeted by a very frantic server (who it became clear was doing her best). She told us she was the only server at the time and that it would be about a 15-20 minute wait. That ended up being more like a 45 minute wait, when there were only two small parties ahead of us, and the majority of tables in the restaurant were empty.

To be clear, I absolutely do not blame the server. She was running around like a madwoman trying to stay on top of things. But I do wonder where an owner or manager is in this situation. It seems like somebody should have stepped up to help out when they were clearly losing customers due to long wait times.

That being said, when we were finally seated, the service was good and again, the food was great.”

“My wife and I planned on having our wedding ceremony in the nearby park under the gazebo and then hosting our reception at Willowbrook Mill. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit uncooperative so we made the last minute decision to have both the ceremony and the reception inside the venue. This was the easiest and smoothest pivot we could have asked for. In fact, we saw it as a blessing in disguise as the ceremony was made all the more intimate. Mimi and Joel went above and beyond in helping us achieve what we can only describe as our perfect wedding. From set-up to tear-down, they were there with us to answer questions and provide insight and guidance along the way. Through the many pictures, videos, and memories; I'm so grateful I get to relive the happiest day of my life at Willowbrook Mill.”
