“This is a very well maintained botanical garden focusing on native plant life rather than mass quantities of exotic flowering plants. The facility is both historic and well maintained. They offer free tours on golf carts but we opted for a self guided walking tour which was great for us.”

“This recently renovated mid century church is a charming secret hideaway far from the roar of the traffic, nestled among the trees, with room to roam.If you would like to have a place for a wedding, family reunion, club meeting, or memorial, I would highly recommend you visit . Kids can run on the front lawn without fear of being hit by a car, perfect for an outdoor ceremony there is plenty of parking, and the owners couldn't be MORE accommodating. I have even thought of hosting a stargazing event on the lawn.Most venues have you truck in broken down rented tables and chairs. Not here. Here, they have brand new round tables that comfortably seat 8. The chairs are sturdy and extra padded, with no fear of Aunt Martha breaking through one of those cheap folded plastic things. White tablecloths are provided.There are also 4 long oblong tables available if you need them. All set up is provided to your specifications.There is plenty of room for a dance floor or a small stage. This is a great place for a small school ceremony, chorus or band rehearsals or private performance.PLEASE don't count this one out. You'll be sorry if you do”

“Our stay at Hotel Del Mar was nothing short of exceptional. The accommodations are absolutely beautiful, with incredibly comfortable beds, a stunning lake view, a luxurious waterfall shower, and every amenity you could possibly want. The Bulgari bath products were such a thoughtful touch and made the entire experience feel truly first class.
What really sets this hotel apart, though, is the people.
Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional, but I especially want to recognize the night manager, Andrew. During our stay, we experienced one of the most terrifying moments our family has ever faced. Our beloved aunt, who has both dementia and Parkinson's disease, wandered out of our room in the middle of the night. We called the front desk in a panic, and Andrew was at our door within seconds. He immediately began searching every floor of the hotel and found her near the laundry room. Thankfully, she was tired but completely safe.
Andrew handled the entire situation with remarkable professionalism, urgency, empathy, and kindness. Afterward, he even gave me a hug because he could see how shaken I was. In a moment of absolute crisis, he remained calm, compassionate, and incredibly effective. He deserves a medal.
We will never forget his kindness or the outstanding care we received from everyone at Hotel Del Mar. If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay with a staff that genuinely cares about its guests, this is it. Thank you for turning what could have been a tragedy into a story of compassion and exceptional service.”

“We had such a wonderful experience from start to finish with the staff at Venue Blue. Laura was a pleasure to work with, the rented table and chairs were all set up when we arrived. The large open floor plan was perfect and we had total flexibility in the way we wanted the venue set up. We recently hosted a baby shower there and the guests were stunned by the beauty of the bay and location of the venue. I would highly recommend considering Venue Blue for your next event.”
