Wonderful place, the only thing I find disturbing being a poor white is that middle class whites can get better deals here than the poorest of us can get in the hood. Not fair. Please open some of these locations in Detroit with the same food options and prices as rich whites can get!”

“I recently went to Dollar Tree when I was sick. I got a lot of cold relief products and Kleenex very cheap instead of paying the high-dollar prices at other pharmacies and stores. They have a great selection on a lot of products a lot of them new and I like to try.”

“After having a bad experience at the Westland store. My husband and I vowed to never shop at Ollie's again. After filing a complaint and having everything resolved by the district manager over all the metro Detroit locations. We decided that all Ollie's employees are not racist like the two at Westland store. We went to Farmington Rd location and will give them our business from now on.”

“This is now my first stop on grocery shopping day. Almost everything is $1.25 and they have name brands. Great for items like body soap, aspirin, allergy, pain meds, reading glasses, wrapping paper & gift cards, Mylar balloons, cleaning supplies, glassware, crafts and school Projects/office supplies, aluminum warming pans. Their friendly staff goes out of their way to help each customer. Now I only have to go to the grocery store to purchase items that Dollar Tree did not have! Excellent value!”

“It certainly is a clearance center. Great deals when you find something you want...and often things you didn't know you needed.They were really short handed the last time I went. Right before Christmas, and the store was quite the mess. Manager said he had three workers call off at the same time. Can't run a business effectively with no staff. Felt bad for them.”

“Amazing staff! They really care about their store and customers. They keep it cleaner than any DG I've been to. They are always disinfecting, mopping, etc. The store is a smaller DG than others in the area, BUT it's the best stocked store around. As soon as they get deliveries they are pushing out the product....and with all that, they still give great service! Highly recommend!”

“Not as large as a previous Ollie’s I have shopped at, BUT the employees that I came in contact with along with the cashier Sondraletta were fantastic to interact with and this was right before closing time and they didn’t rush me out like some businesses have a tendency to do, wish I had the other ladies name she caught me dancing with a squishy.”

“On June 30, 2023, I ordered two Dempsey Blue Padded Patio High Dining Bistro Chairs - SKU(s): 810587806 from the Farmington Hills, MI store on Grand River. These are very nice chairs and match my other smaller chairs perfectly. But most importantly was the superb customer service I received from Tee and Jay. They tenaciously made sure the chairs were secured in my SUV (these are counter-height). I want to thank them both for their excellent customer.”

“Best liquidation I've been to in Michigan and yes u can find some parts that are not working but that's why there a unboxing station in there and its a liquidation store so you'll find stuff worth hundreds of dollars that are 12$ or lower so everyone try em out. “Today I went to this particular Dollar General twice. The first time I went for some cleaning supplies and accidentally broke something because I was carrying too much in my hands as I usually go in for 1 thing and leave with 20. A young man named Tim was so kind and attentive and understanding and swiftly cleaned up my mess. A young lady (I didn't get her name) ran and got me a cart. The young man at check out was also very kind to myself and my 8 year old daughter his name was Kenneth. The second time I went back because I forgot sponges and again got more than I could carry. Tim grabbed the items out of my hands and scanned each item for me. I wish every dollar general was as clean and as well ran as this one. Thank you Tim and Kenneth. I will be back”

“I love everything about the store except the new girl they hired. I purposely won’t go into the store if I know she’s in there. She is rude, pushy and look inconvenienced when I walk in or she had to stop what she’s doing to cash someone out. The 2 ladies that are usually working are awesome! I know they need a break and days off, but she is the total opposite of what they need.”

“Ok Who doesn't love Family Dollar they have everything that you need at a discount price you can go in there, they open at 8 o'clock in the morning. I'm going there right after I dropped my grandkids off at school to get the everything I need and they have great stuff on sale. They have food in the freezer's just in case you don't feel like going to a big grocery store. Now that they remodeled and everything is neat and clean it's just a great place to go in when you need something quickly .I love it check it out.”

“This store has always been the store I go to right by my house always very friendly but not so put together will say ever since the new manager has been there the last few months I walked in the store and it looked so nice not huge carts in every aisle with tons of merchandise aisles look wayyy better I totally understand the short Ness of staff but it seems like the same amount of staff it was just the point of putting the work in and doing it I guess but she has the store looking awesome!! Idk her name I forgot usually go in the evenings. Matt and tristens customer service is awesome this store definitely got put together for the most part great jobs guys!”

The store is almost always put together nicely though things get moved around a bit, the new remodeling has been a great addition.
