“My family has hosted multiple events at this banquet hall and every single one has been an absolute success, from 1995 to current! From start to finish, the experience has been seamless, and that’s thanks to the incredible staff, especially Michael and Kristen. They are always so welcoming, accommodating, and go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly.
The food is absolutely amazing — every time we’ve had the catering, it’s been top-notch, and our guests always rave about it! The entire place is spotless and very well-maintained, which adds to the overall positive atmosphere. (I promise the alfredo and chocolate cover strawberries alone seal the deal for me ever since day one!!)
Whether it’s a big event or a smaller gathering, the team here is always friendly and makes sure you feel right at home. I highly recommend this banquet hall for any event — you won’t be disappointed!”
“Saw your ad on TV for tickets to see the King and I , with Yule Brenner and Debrorah Kerr. Had balcony seats. One of the most beautiful experiences of my life. Thank you. I'll never forget. It was the early 80's. I've always enjoyed Broadway hits, Carousel, West Side Story and others. I purchased private balcony seating. Beautiful blue velvet comfortable chairs. Only one other couple with us. Extremely elegant.”

“We did our 125-person reception at GLCC, and from the beginning, working with GLCC and Cassy has been an absolute pleasure. From scheduling the initial tour to tear down, the entire team was professional, courteous, and helpful. The food from Reva Constantine Events was easily the best I’ve ever had at a wedding, and people were telling us similar things all night long. The cake was life-changing (literally), and everything else was fantastic. The venue itself is excellent, with a very cool aesthetic. It is clean, spacious, and has a beautiful outdoor patio and garden. Cassy was always highly responsive, flexible, and helpful, providing us with suggestions, assurances, and overall assistance with the venue, food, and drink, among other things. We changed the menu multiple times, and she was on top of it all every time! I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a fantastic reception venue.”

She's clean and her staff is friendly, professional and timely with orders. Next time you're near HUNTINGTON also known as Cobo Hall, check out her food menu. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND her fried Catfish and Chicken Wing dinners. They're well worth the money. You won't be disappointed.”

The building itself has a lot of charm and lovely aesthetic. A lovely gallery to look at and enjoy a long with a beautiful outside courtyard. Well run, clean, sound was good, beautiful back beer garden out back, friendly crowd… this is a great place to see up-and-coming bands and I can imagine it’s gaining a reputation for that, for good reason. “Held my father’s repast there a week ago and the venue was perfect for my family. A great space for just enough folks, clean, intimate, and affordable. My only concern was I had to call several times to reach the owner to have someone come unlock the closet with the controls to the sound system and to get access to a plunger (a guest used too much tp and clogged the toilet). When I did reach him he sent someone right over to help. Everything turned out awesome!! Thank you Suite 813!!”

“The ambience is great for a casual night out. Food and drinks are ordered at the counter and delivered to your table. The pizza is delicious and we also really liked our salad. Staff was helpful in advising us when we were ordering too much. Our group of 8 was a bit of a tight squeeze but it worked for us. Kids and adults were all happy with the food.”
