“This place is well organized and very well-stocked with a very friendly and helpful staff.. it carries almost anything you need other than fresh produce and meat.. simply the most economical place to shop in this town. The clerk name Bonnie is very helpful with finding a item. There are many people that drive from neighboring counties just to shop here.”

“Not happy with purchases, for one prices are a bit high. And for another when u pay those prices you should at least get top notch groceries, this post was from a way back I updated this , lately I’ve seen fresh produce and meats, sure the prices are a little higher but imagine the stock the store has to carry? Ok what and how much waste there is,? Be happy Ontonagon that you have a store! It is a great convenience!! Like the hospital everyone gripes about it until it was gone then you cried about it, what are you going to do if the grocery store closes , catch up with the times!! And give them a little credit for what they do and offer, talk with the meat dept on select cuts you may want or a special order of meat you want they do a lot for a small town area and we are lucky to have that here”

“Old-time general store atmosphere in a tiny town. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and had great tips on local attractions. We were thrilled to find cane sugar Dr. Pepper in glass bottles and delicious ice cream. Serving was much larger and more affordable than we expected! Definitely a nice place to stop and stretch your legs when traveling in the area.”
