I went in the store very last minute to rent a truck or van. They offered so many helpful options to meet my ridiculous timeline and request. I could not be more thankful for how they treated me and really expedited the whole process. They made renting the truck a breeze, would 100% rent from them again.”
“My husband and I had our wedding here in October 2025. It was exactly what I had hoped for! A beautiful canvas to design our wedding exactly how we dreamed it would be. Not only was the location beautiful, but the employees and the coordinator (Olivia) were wonderful and very helpful. The price was very reasonable and allowed us to put most of our budget into the food and alcohol. Olivia worked with us with whatever we needed. We also got our flowers for the wedding from Goldner Walsh. Emma helped us envision what kind of florals we wanted for our day. The flowers were beautiful and lasted for a week in our home afterward. The flower staff was so kind and genuinely were excited to be a part of our wedding. The best part of our entire experience was that we had the day before to set up and the day after to take it all down. Most places expect you to set up and take down the same day. I would hire Goldner Walsh for our future events any time! Some of our guests loved that they could walk around and make purchases during the wedding as well. Everyone talked about the kitty and the tortoise on the property as well.”

“This garden store was amazingly beautiful. The rows of plants reached farther back then my group ventured, and everything was so lush--lots of happy plants. My family and I had stopped here just to burn some time before meeting others for dinner nearby, so I was mostly window-shopping. There is at least one cat, and he was very friendly. He seems to have a very comfy bed/perch near the gift shop. I'm dropping a star for the way the door into the gift shop closed unpredictably; my finger got closed in the frame, which really hurt. (I'm ok! But I don't know whether it was a fluke or something that actually happens more often than it should.)”

“Too bad, I can't give Home Depot 6 stars! Here's why: Today, I was in need of a garbage disposal, (Initially dealt with another major supply store, but sadly, due to several weeks of ongoing issues with miscommunication and lack of inventory, given reassurances and awaiting phone calls to fix the matter, I decided to get a refund and take my business elsewhere.) Hence, searched online, picked out a Badger 5 / 1/2 HP product to purchase. Contacted Home Depot Rochester Hills service desk, spoke to Mike K, who connected me with Beth (Plumbing/Kitchen Dept.) Beth not only helped me locate my requested product, she also pulled another comparable product to allow me a secondary choice along with product pricing, she immediately set up a Home Depot service person to contact me for my garbage disposal installation, and was able to pay for it right over the phone. She reassured me, that she would pull both disposals, set them on a counter, and instructed me to go directly to Kitchen department for pick-up. To my surprise, approximately, 30 minutes later, the Home depot serviceman called me, set up an appointment to install my garbage disposal, today. Mind you, I was just getting my shoes on to pick- up the disposal. Of course, I made an appointment as soon as I was able to pick up the disposal. Beth kept her word, when I arrived at the store, that's exactly where I found the disposals setting; at the Kitchen counter showroom. No time to waste, the Badger 5 unit was my choice, so, I proceeded to walk to the service desk where a very nice cashier, quickly assisted me on my purchase. Finally, got home and to my amazement, my husband was waiting at the door, laughingly, grabbed it from me, to hand to the serviceman Stanley, who was there in the kitchen ready to install. Wow! He had actually already removed the old disposal and awaited the new one, in the time that I was coming home from the store. Wow! Home Depot and their serviceman were totally on the ball today! My husband and I are very satisfied customers, impressed with Home Depot's fast and excellent service, and highly recommend anyone searching for great service to go to Home Depot in Rochester Hills. Thank-you Home Depot employees: Mike K, Beth, Stanley the serviceman, and all others who assisted me and provided OUTSTANDING service.”
“I went to Bordines for their Christmas artificial stems to fill a vase I had. I was literally running around trying every stem like a chicken with its head cut off but just couldn’t find anything that worked. One of the workers popped up without even being asked and held an arrangement of stems for my vase and then added a few more till it looked great! I am very grateful for her help and will definitely be returning!”

Recently, I ordered a glider from the Home Depot website. Upon pickup at the Rochester Hills, MI store, I noticed the box was torn on one corner, and the unit's leg was slightly scuffed. After unboxing, I discovered the frame was bent, likely due to forklift mishandling.
I returned to the Rochester Hills store, where I was assisted by Wanda, an exemplary customer service representative. After explaining the situation, Wanda showed genuine empathy for the inconvenience I experienced. When I expressed my desire to reorder, she suggested I place the order via my phone while she phoned Home Depot's customer service for website orders to ensure the replacement would be satisfactory.
As Wanda processed my refund for the original unit, she went above and beyond by calling Home Depot's central customer service. She meticulously explained the situation, emphasizing the extra effort required on my part – from pickup to unpacking, repacking, and returning the damaged item. Wanda's primary concern was preventing a similar occurrence and arranging for the new glider to be shipped directly to my home.
Although express shipping wasn't possible, Wanda's persistence resulted in a price adjustment that wouldn't have been offered without her excellent advocacy. Impressively, even while assisting me and navigating on-hold times on the phone, Wanda efficiently multitasked, helping other customers in the store.
