“Great staff friendly and mancinos inside has the best pepper jack soup I ever tasted . Do try. Also a gift shop of sorts in there for traveling souvenir collectors”

“This place should be a historical landmark. A must stop for anyone camping in Oscoda. They sell gasoline, groceries, beer and liquor, lotto, fishing bait and supplies. Lots of souvenirs and doodads for the kids too.”

“The staff is super nice! No straws has been a pain ( not something they can help) and I purchased mulch last week that wasn't good (also not their fault) got a discount right away. I see a review on here where a guy gave 1 star because of customers??? The store and staff are 5 star!”

“Since this market was last reviewed four years ago, from a customer perspective, not much has changed. Yes, there was an ownership change about a year ago that changed the way inventory was tracked that affected existing cashiers, but unless you're an employee, it looks the same. It's still a Shell station with a nice market.Louie's is one of two stores in town with an active deli counter. Their deli counter opens early to serve breakfast casseroles and gravy to folks heading into work. The cold case is always well-stocked with grab and go options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and even desserts. They have a good selection of quality meats, which I personally believe rivals the local supermarket.Louie's has a nicely stocked fresh produce section too.The staff behind the deli counter, cashiers, and even those restocking shelves have always been friendly, courteous, and helpful to me over the years I've been coming here. You might wonder why I give Louise five stars. They may not be a Whole Foods or a high-end specialty store, but those stores are in a different category and comparing Louie's to them wouldn't be fare. On their own merits, Louie's is doing a great job of being a small, clean, well-stocked market with convenient business hours.”

“I used to go to this party store when stationed at Wurtsmith AFB from 1986 - 1990. Traveling with my wife recently, and telling her how good this place was, I drove by to see if they were still in business. To my surprise, they were! I ordered a large cheesesteak to go, and it was as good as I remembered, so many years ago. The lady working the grill was very friendly and did an awesome job making my sandwich. Not that I can visit often, but I will be sure to stop by whenever I'm in the area.”

“Not sure what’s up with all the bad reviews, but this Rite-Aid answered my call almost immediately and quickly helped me resolve my issue of transferring prescriptions. Thank you so much for your help!”
