“This place is very convenient. Small store, you should be able to find what you need and it has a good selection of beers and meats. Get here early in the AM to get a chance to get some of the most amazing doughnuts - they are so good!! The only downfall is it's a bit pricey here.”

“This store is small and somewhat expensive but it is convenient and the workers are always kind. It's one of those places that makes you feel the comfort of small town living. They do not accept food stamps, they do not sell liquor either but they have beer and they have a pretty good selection of non alcoholic drinks as well.”

“Big thank you to all staff at Kroger in Owosso, but especially to Larry who helped me find a German chocolate cake mix, which was hiding way behind other mixes and it's for my husband's Birthday on the 7th! Also to cashier Linda who was great and made checking out wonderful. Not only did I find everything on my list, but most of it was on sale! Thank you to Steven for bagging them, he has a great personality. And above that, I lost my card and was able to still get the sales with my phone! Great shopping day, thanks again!�”

“Stock in the store was better than average in my area. Zachary, a young man who helped me in the self checkout, really went above and beyond. I didn't realize I had items requiring a clip coupon. Unpromoted, he came over and patiently and kindly helped fix my order. I'm disabled and struggled shopping. I can't truly express how grateful I am.”

“This store always gets better in the winter when other employees come from other stores to help with the holidays. And to be honest, idk if the newer employees were just extra help for that reason or if they are permanent employees, but hopefully, the latter because this location got better with the new additions. Recently, I was here to deposit cash to cash app, and the self checkout was open, but I needed an employee for this transaction, so I went to a cash register with a person. There was no one in line, but an older lady got behind me and started putting all of her stuff on the counter out of her cart. This doesn't bother me with anyone, especially at Dollar General, because it's normal and not a big deal. But then she incessantly complained about my transaction taking too long. And she got progressively more and more angry. The dude behind the counter couldn't ignore it any longer, as I doubt anyone could have. But he handled it perfectly, and not in a rude way, and there just was no talking sense to this lady. In the middle of him apologizing to her, when truthfully, this guy deserved the apology, she stormed out red-faced and full of crazy anger. I will never understand how something like that could make someone so angry. This event just stuck out in my mind so I felt like it was relevant to a review. Any store with employees with integrity makes that store better among stores. And as dollar generals go, this location is clean.”
