“all their food is good . seen they have a new sushi section....premade subs and other premade stuff is good prices are good .i bought stuff on sale and closeout items . the store is clean .workers are helpful and friendly .they have hand sanitizer and stuff to clean carts in hallway ..their store brand pop is pretty good. .their fresh fruits and veggies and premade salads are good ..”

“This store is small and somewhat expensive but it is convenient and the workers are always kind. It's one of those places that makes you feel the comfort of small town living. They do not accept food stamps, they do not sell liquor either but they have beer and they have a pretty good selection of non alcoholic drinks as well.”

“Lately I have seen such an improvement in the DGs. For one I have to shout out to Houghton Lake Rd in Lake City. That Manager has really busted her buns in that store and it shows. She is wonderful to her staff too. Down state I have been to Durand and Morrice and they are amazing stores. I just loved meeting Sue at Durand. She is honestly the best.R he store was wonderful and clean.
Morrice is probably the coolest of the upgraded stores. The carts are popping, the aisles are fully stocked and immaculate. DG need to staff all their stores appropriately to keep all of the stores looking that good. That is an impressive looking upgrade. I hope they take good care of their employees so they are able to maintain these stores. Overworking staff means you lose these great people who are really doing a great job. The good people you have in there make me want to come and shop there because they give the store a hometown feeling. When I see the ones huddled, griping, and talking about their hangovers I do avoid those stores.”
