“I went to get pens and while I didn't find the ones I was looking for but I did find a small desk fan. Currently they also have a lot of back to school stuff going on, being cheap. I work at schools and have been making a point to notice this. The stuff I get from there is good for the price, lasting about as long as I expect for the prices. I have high hopes for this fan.”

“The Five below on Westmain has a superstar customer service staff. I went to purchase a phone spinpop & didn’t realize that I needed a magnetic phone protective case in order for it work. I returned the one that I purchased that matched my iPhone only to have to exchange & purchase a new protective case & screen protector. After 2 exchanges I finally got what I needed. The staff was patient & very understanding as well as being very friendly & most of all very very helpful.”
“My daughters and I came into your store on the 18th. We wanted to just give a high five shout out to Lloyd who was our cashier. He did an excellent job! Gave excellent customer service, joked with us,.laughed and still did his job. Customer service is terrible in our current climate so we were very impressed with him and wanted his management team to know he should be your employee of the month.”
“Very well organized and great staff. The entire crew is always full of good energy and I just learned today who the store manager was. I never knew it was him because he's always stocking things so I thought he was a regular guy. He's always positive and charming. Anyone who says something bad about them is more than likely the problem.”
““I recently stopped by Family Dollar, and overall, this is a place I visit often and feel comfortable going to.
The environment is good, and the people behind the counter really make the difference. There’s a young lady there who is always welcoming, smiling, and positive whenever I come in—that kind of energy matters and makes customers want to come back.
On one visit, a friend of mine wasn’t allowed inside, so I had to go in for him. But my experience personally has always been respectful and smooth.
At the end of the day, it’s the people that make a place, and this team does a great job of creating a good atmosphere.

“I had a great experience at Family Dollar. I stopped in to grab some food before heading to the Red Roof Inn, and everything was convenient and easy to find.
What stood out most was the customer service. The young lady at the counter was very courteous, friendly, and respectful. That kind of energy makes a difference and keeps people coming back.
I go based on how a place treats people, and this location gets it right. Because of that, I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who follows my reviews.

“After being a Comstock resident for 2 years now seeing what this little corner of kzoo has to offer it seems the owner or GM has a soft spot for hiring Comstock residents who truly need a job. Sometimes they put hope into people who mean well but aren't totally ready. It has caused the issues you read about in all comments below but those in there working everyday are normal people just trying to make like the rest of us. It is nice though finally walking in and seeing they hired the most beautiful young lady I've seen this city ?”
“This is one of the best Dollar Generals out there. They don't always have my water flavorings in stock though. But the staff are usually friendly and I usually find what I need here. Their clearance aisle also is worth checking out. And they're usually good about customers using the restrooms.”
“On Monday the 19th we stopped at the $ General. Our truck would not start after turning it off. Jose was on shift that day - He was so helpful and rushed outside and moved his truck and we were able to jump our vehicle. We were so appreciative and he did so w/a smile and genuine kindness. “This store is the most stocked and clean of all the dollar generals I visit around me. I noticed a newer employee that went above and beyond to help me find my needs so I could get out as quick as possible. The name on her name tag was Jessica. The location is convenient, in a strip mall on west main with other stores of various quality and price points, so if you can't get what you need there you can check here!”

Nice location clean store the workers are nice the only problem I have is for the delivery truck driver's to deliver at each store I've been to they have weird entry ways for the delivery trucks it should always be a two-way entryway not a one way it makes it odd for the truck driver's to pull in & back up.”
