“Dana the owner is one heck of a nice guy. I do recommend calling there first, to make sure that they have the fresh smoked fish that you are looking for. They also have a freezer case of Walleye, Perch, and Whitefish fillets. Love visiting this place, they are right on the Bay in Pinconning.”
“I have to confess; I am a meat eater/lover. Now that is out of the way, Town and Country is one of my favorite places to satisfy my craving for meat. I have been to them all to look for the best meat and also the best prices. Although occasionally I do find a deal at other places, you can't beat the quality, price and consistency of Town and Country. The butchers are very helpful and ready to educate you as well. I have never been disappointed.
In addition, this is a large Spartan store with everything else you need as you shop. The beer cave and liquor department compare to the best.”
“The store is always neat, clean, employees are friendly and helpful. What is very important is their sale prices do NOT require a purchase of 2/3/5 of those items to get the sale price. Their meats/poultry are packaged in smaller amounts yet still carry the sale price. I've been bypassing Family Fare in Standish to shop here for that reason. As a senior, on fixed income, it's only 10 miles away & worth the gas to get the savings.”
“I'm from South Lyon and I have got to tell you, I don't go into Dollar General very often. I started going into then every time I came back to visit family and honestly, it's my favorite store. The things are very cheap in price, extremely colorful, and perfect for my style. I never know what I'm going to find, but I absolutely love this store!!!”
“Meat extravaganza!!! Worth the trip from surrounding areas for your meat needs. Wonderful cuts from choice cuts of beef steaks, pork ribs and loins, chicken quarters and kogel (dogs, bologna, wursts, etc.) Butchers will cut to desired thickness for free. Cash, check, or Bridge card only. They do have an ATM on premises.”
