“Gilda's Club is such an awesome resource to have in Grand Rapids. The offer support groups for grief related instances. They also have many unique workshops available for people of all ages. I have been attending their young adult grief support group for around 5 months now and I really enjoy it. It's extremely helpful to connect with others going through similar situations to you. Their staff is so kind and knowledgeable and I have met some awesome people here! They offer suppers on the same day that they hold support groups that are either cooked by their volunteers or donated from outside groups/people and this has been a great resource as well. Their clubhouse/grounds is amazing! Such an awesome space and I feel lucky that our local chapter has this location and building.”

“Came here with friends for the club's Luau. The food was delicious and served hot! The staff and members were very friendly too! They also had a band that started at 8pm. The band was called signal point Band or SPB. Very talented and kept the dance floor full.”

“Nice space for a Surprise Birthday party that we attended. The elderly attendees and disabled had a very hard time climbing the stairs to get up to the party space upstairs. They have a lower space and I would choose that instead next time. There is no lot for Parking and it was challenging to find a spot but we did finally find a spot on street.”

“Degage is a wonderful place with great staff that really care. I can't begin to tell you how much this ministry has done for me and my son on a daily basis. 3 meals a day for the women who stay there. Newly remodeled facility that is very clean and nice. Plus, advocates who really want to see you succeed!”

They are a non profit associated with Mel trotter ministries and is full of wonderful, kind, knowledgeable people. I have participated in the program and currently work In production here and it is a wonderful place.”

One thing they improve is who they rent tables, chairs and dishes from. But other than that its a beautiful building and the views of the city are outstanding.”

“AgrAbility is amazing. They have helped my grandmother be able to continue running her farm in face of her disabilities. Most recently Ned was able install a barn door opener allowing her to go in out of her Barn without constantly getting on and off equipment (Which is getting increasingly difficult). Not only has this made my grandmothers day to day living easier but has also given our family some great peace of mind. Thank you Ned and AgriAbility!”

“I’ve hosted twice with CETUSA and both experiences were great. Of course they can never guarantee that a student will be a great fit with a family but we had mature, kind, and very thankful exchange students. We have no teens in the home but our students treated the littles very well and still send them gifts on occasion. We are still very close with both students. We hosted in 2019 and 2021. I would highly recommend CETUSA.”

“Friendly customer service, was able to find the location easily, drop off to recycle items is now on the north side of the building, use the entrance in front of the building and use the dirt driveway to go to the recycling drop off door. Press the button for service and they will lift the door and help you with your items. There may be a small processing fee for larger items but it's fairly cheap and worth keeping this kind of junk from ending up in a landfill!”
“I worked here for several years. It is NOT a nursing home! Not sure why the terrible review of "1"..they provide EXCELLENT at home care with wonderful caregivers. They also provide flu clinics for many company's employees & public clinics at various locations around GR.”

This place is always clean, organized, & the employees are polite. Bring your own bag/s though, they did away with plastic ones (yay). Enjoy.”
