“Dave is easily the most reliable and knowledgeable mechanic I’ve ever met! I went in last minute to see if my car was safe to drive up north before my vacation that weekend, he went out of his way to give me a diagnostic within 24 hours despite having a booked up schedule for a few weeks! He sat down and gave me a 30 minute explanation of everything that was wrong, as well as explaining the mechanics of everything so I better understood. His prices were extremely affordable compared to other auto shops that over price everything and don’t do the job right. An extremely honest man who genuinely wants his customers leaving happy and satisfied, I’ll be taking my car here ongoing, couldn’t recommend this place enough!!!”

“I came to Midas in Rochester hills in November of 2023 for an alignment. Nate took my info and had me wait for a quick suspension inspection before they moved forward. This is where Eddie walked me through what was really wrong with the car and why an alignment would not be possible at this time. After looking over the whole car, I was given an estimate of 4000 for all repairs. I did not have close to that amount of money and felt at a hopeless loss. Nate then said I would be able to keep the car their free of charge due to their large lot. He told me about the Midas credit card option, but that ended up at a dead end. Fast forward to February. My car was still in the lot. I finally had the money to move forward with repairs. I called and spoke to Nate once again. We added a couple items needed for the car to run properly. He called me back with a new estimate of 5600. We talked for a few minutes and he immediately comped an oil change and found a cheaper battery, but that only brought the total down to 5400. I told him I would have to see if I can make that work because I had 5000 from my taxes that I was able to spend on the car, but that was basically my limit. When I called back Nate told me that he spoke to JD, his manager, and gave me a bunch of discounts to bring the price down to 5133. That amount I could do. We went ahead with the repairs, and two days later the car was ready.I walked into Midas at close and JD allowed me to get my car. He even waited over half an hour while I was on the phone with my bank to get them to approve the transaction. After I had my car, the drivers side door would not latch. I waved down Eddie as he was leaving for the day(over 90 min past close) to see if he could help me. He found the issue and told me there was a recall for that, and to try to find out from Ford if I can get that fixed for free, and if not I could have them look at it. Then he showed me how to get the door to latch in the interim and explained why it was happening.I have had over ten cars in my life. In that time I have grown apprehensive of mechanics and repair shops in general, especially chains. I have never been treated in such a respectful way with so much empathy. From now on I will not be going anywhere except for this Midas. I am almost looking forward for the next car issue because I finally have somewhere I can take my car that I trust. I would give the customer service and mechanical expertise a 10/10. I highly recommend that anyone able to visit this Midas does so. Thank you Nate, Eddie, and JD for treating me with more respect and empathy than I have ever experienced from a business before.TLDR This Midas 10/10, everyone should go there, especially those who don't know much about cars/those with mechanic trust issues.”

“Today I had a flat tire and the man who came out from "roadside assistance" (from my insurance company) was useless. I then called Cliff, the owner of my local North Hill SUNOCO and he graciously agreed to come and rescue me himself! He arrived with one of his mechanics and they got to work wrestling with my corroded Spare tire hardware and had a hard time freeing it from the trunk. He even had more tools driven to our location! He would not give up! To top it off, he took me and my 5 year old daughter next door to buy her candy for being so good”
