“A HUGE "thank you" to the Marathon gas station cashier, Dawn, who helped me in a bind on Monday, when I ran out of gas. I haven't ran out of gas since I was in high school.Coming home from Kroger, the car ran out of gas on the exit ramp, coming home. Walked to the Marathon station, literally across the street, to get a can of gas. Unfortunately, they didn't have any usable gas cans.Dawn took action. She immediately called her husband, to come up to the station, with a can of gas. He did so, and then afterwards, he tells me twice, "do not come to the gas station to give my wife money for this. She won't accept it. This is what you do in life. You help people when you can afford to do it. The only pay back I want is for you to be a good person, and pay it forward when you can."AWESTRUCK!!! Thank you, kindly, good sir.”

“Again, this is just a gas station so it's hard to write an in-depth review for it, but I'll add what I can. The staff was really nice and the place was pretty clean for a gas station so that's really good. They have a good selection of beverages and snacks and other items you might need while on the road.”

“I like this place because I think over the last three years that I've often rode my bike past it they were the first other than Speedy's to drop their price and gas when prices would fall and they don't go up ridiculously high when they rise again the store is always nice cleaning open and very quiet and it's right down the street from my laundromat so very convenient”

Because of this, Kroger is the only grocery store I shop at regularly, except for fruit and vegetables. “The gas from Sam's club lasts so much longer than gas from other gas stations. It takes a minute longer before you can pump so that the card goes through but there's an attendant outside and I feel safe while pumping my gas. Worth the drive for me”

“Cheapest gas around, nice employees, quick easy, no pay tap to pay at pump but for the price of their gas any tiny issue is worth it. And if you want even cheaper gas you can get a car wash for an extra $6, I highly recommend coming here.
Also here's some food for thought, don't hire teenagers who listen to rap music blasting through the speakers to work at a gas station, and don't falsely advertise the Sunoco app at every pump and then tell me that you guys don't accept it, especially when I already used it not even a week ago.
Overall it's a good gas station it's cheap but one or two employees are clueless on how to work their own pumps.
But overall 10/10”

“People here are great. They try to help everyone who comes in their gas station. They give a whole new meaning to need something and a penny short no problem. Yes they dont have a public restroom but if your need they will let you use it. From my understanding they have had the same problem as every other gas station in Monroe and had to follow suite in closing theirs down to. So I totally understand why they dont have a 24 hour restroom. I have been in there many times and never have seen a resturant. They do have some really good sandwhiches and cheese.”

“I have mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, it has just about everything you could need and a very large convenience store. On the other hand, it feels like the property has been allowed to run down a bit over the years. Gas prices are usually in line with what you'll find elsewhere in the area. The convenience store carries a huge selection, likely because of the engine plant down the street and the thousands of employees who work there. They definitely cater to that crowd. The location is in a safe area, although it sits at a busy intersection. Even so, traffic is generally manageable. I don't stop here very often since I'm usually not in the area when I need gas, but when I am nearby, it's a convenient place to fill up and grab a few things.”

“I moved to the neighborhood nine years ago. I clearly recall abe showing me where the coffee was my first time in like it was yesterday. I've been going in there ever since. I've met Sam & Moe as well as Ceaser. I've grown to respect each and every one of them through the years.
They are great community supporters and great people to know & joke with. They always put a smile on my face, coffee in my hand and fuel in my tank. I've met several other people in the neighborhood who agree with me. Keep up the great work guys. It's been an honor dealing with you through the years and forward. 👍👍!!!”

“This gas station has prices will catch you off guard. You must stop by here for some Gatorades before going to the Great Wave! I’m talking about four 28oz bottles for $4! Can’t beat that at all.. The gasoline is also 20¢ cheaper than the metro Detroit gas prices in case you didn’t know.”
